Discussion with Catherine Mayer about Meghan The Duchess of Sussex being pitted against Kate Middleton Princess of Wales and that it’s unnecessary and damaging for the monarchy. Of course the right wing lady in the blue intentionally missing the point and derails it to inject that typical right wing whinge that Meghan chose to leave and is not royal or working as a royal, when the point is that when she was doing royal duties she was being demonised and that’s the reason she stepped back (silver lining 🥳🎉).

Minister Joly put out a clear message in stating that Canada’s policy on a weapons ban to Israel remains in place. She suggested point blank that the government of Canada was not in favour of any loopholes being used in relation to the recent proposed sale of explosives by General Dynamics. She further specifically stated, “Meanwhile, as for the questions regarding General Dynamics, our policy is clear. We will not have any arms or parts of arms be sent to Gaza. Period. How they’re being sent or where they’re being sent is irrelevant”. This is a positive step for the Minister to take in sending a strong signal that the one-way weapons export ban remains strong and without loophole. We must continue to work towards further policy to stand for peace and for a better world for all to live in.
