Hungary's Foreign Minister Szijjártó: We have first-hand experience of the high standards set by the Turkish defense industry. However, some European countries are trying to exclude Turkish defense companies from new procurement programs aimed at increasing Europe’s defense capacity. We do not agree with this. Türkiye is a NATO member. Therefore, we see no valid reason to exclude Turkish defense companies. Hungary–Türkiye defense cooperation will continue to advance.

Iran’s FM: The recent war showed foreign forces & bases not only could not bring security but instead turned into security disruptors. Countries without US military bases suffered less damage, while foreign bases were unable to defend even their own interests against attacks.

Much of the Russian military has not been negatively affected by the war in Ukraine - US General Christopher Cavoli ➡️ Russia can keep going for years and their defense is not down. All talk about inflicting a strategic defeat is just European hot air.

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan slams France. Some small European countries participating in certain operations under the U.S. umbrella and trying to assert influence bring no benefit to themselves or the region. If they can conduct operations or deploy military forces in regions without U.S. support, let’s see it. But we know that’s not the case. We don’t take seriously countries that hide behind America’s power to advance their own interests.

Defense Minister Nikos Dendias: "Our homeland threatens no one. Greece has not articulated a revisionist narrative, nor has it issued threats against any of our neighbors. However, our country is absolutely determined to defend its sovereignty and its sovereign rights. This is the constitutional duty of the Armed Forces, and it is the duty of every Greek woman and every Greek man."

Iran FM, Araghchi: The most important problem of dialogues is the contradictory messages we receive from the Americans through comments, interviews and different positions. We are not to blame for the Strait of Hormuz issue. We did not initiate this war; We are only defending ourselves and I believe we have the full right to legitimate defense. Strait of Hormuz is not closed for friendly countries. This restriction only applies to our enemies. Ships belonging to friendly countries and other countries are only required to coordinate their passage with our military forces.

Greece's Foreign Minister George Gerapetritis admits: Türkiye developed its defense industry beginning in the 1990s, at a time when, unfortunately, our own defense industry was in decline. I believe this was a strategic mistake on our part. By contrast, it was an effort—an attempt by Türkiye—to integrate into the international defense system. Türkiye also uses its defense industry as a diplomatic instrument—not only in its relations with the European Union and NATO, but also with countries farther afield, such as those in Africa and the Middle East.

Lavrov came up with a new accusation for Ukraine: this time, he said that military aid for Ukraine would have been better spent on the needs of developing countries. A) The weapons are provided to stop Russian military aggression and protect European and global security. B) If Russia cares about the developing countries so much, it should not have attacked Ukraine and should have spent the billions it spends on war in those countries instead. C) Russia has a record of weaponizing food and using food insecurities of developing countries in its favor. D) I am so tired of Russian bullsh*t.
