@googledrive @SlackHQ Keeping the final call with the human is the right design choice.

@googledrive @SlackHQ Bold of Codex to assume there's actual coherent context in our Slack. 😬

@googledrive @SlackHQ Final call" is the heavy lifter here. Automation handles the grunt work, but that last bit of human judgment is where the real engineering happens. Love seeing tools that respect the loop instead of trying to replace it.

@googledrive @SlackHQ An extension with local file access?

@googledrive @SlackHQ The final call gets easier when Codex produces an approval packet: request, sources used, fields changed, open follow-ups, tests passed, owner, and rollback. Human review should be a decision on evidence, not a scavenger hunt across the browser, Slack, Drive, and local files.

@googledrive @SlackHQ Chats I'm starting in the chrome extension are not appearing anywhere. Not inside Codex or ChatGPT.

@googledrive @SlackHQ 你好 我建议将work/codex改成线程级别的切换,而不是整个界面 会不会更方便

@googledrive @SlackHQ The useful boundary here is ‘you make the final call.’ Agents can own the busywork; ownership stays with the builder.

This is a solid workflow demo — the real unlock is reducing context-switch tax across Drive, Slack, and local files in one loop. Curious if Codex can handle multi-step conditional logic (e.g., flagging only tasks with past-due dependencies) or if it's purely linear execution.

@googledrive @SlackHQ Another “guy talking to camera in soft lighting” video instead of an actual screen recording of the process. If the product is really this smooth, why is the demo an actor and not a terminal?

Turning a scattered request into a structured go-live plan is a profound exercise in organization. By bridging the gap between disconnected data points—from Slack to local files—Codex acts as a catalyst for clarity. This reduces the cognitive friction of "gathering" and empowers the human element to focus on what truly matters: the final call and the creative execution. A seamless bridge between information and action. 🌌

@googledrive @SlackHQ Eish, another workflow demo. Meanwhile, I'm still trying to get my load shedding schedule to sync. Yebo, if Codex can solve that, I'm in.

@googledrive @SlackHQ The "you make the final call" part is the important design choice. Agents are best when they turn messy context into a reviewable plan: sources, checklist, gaps, proposed action, and a clean approval moment before anything ships.

@googledrive @SlackHQ Love the automation, but I still trust my coffee-fueled brain for the final call. Does it handle merge conflicts in Slack threads too?

@googledrive @SlackHQ "you make the final call" is doing a lot of reassuring here lol. once it drafts the reply and updates the portal, how many people are actually reading before they click approve?
