This small 3D printed tool makes driving screws a lot easier. 🔩It’s the Auto-Releasing Screw Holder by Magmabow. It holds the screw in front of your drill bit and lets go once the screw starts going into the material. Simple, useful, and definitely one of those prints that stays in the toolbox. 🧰 We printed ours on the Prusa CORE One L from Prusament PETG Galaxy Black.

This new LIFI wireless network works with LIGHT (li-fi light-fidelity) instead of radio waves it transmits data through 'trigger light' from LED LIGHT BULBS.... Do you realise now why they made incandescent bulbs 'obsolete?' Not only that, it is said we cannot see the flicker in this light (many actually can and can't use led bulbs)....because it is over 60 HERTZ. 👀 Filmed by me outside on our balcony. This is why LED light is dangerous to our mitochondria. First, let’s understand what we are seeing. Here it is -19°C = -2.2°F . Very different from the coast. The countryside is colder, darker, and holds ice in the air. What we’re seeing is artificial light from street lamps reflecting off ice crystals suspended in very cold air. At around -19°C (from my outdoor thermometer), the air can hold flat, plate-shaped ice crystals that float and slowly fall, almost like microscopic mirrors. 🤔 So why does the light go straight up? Because these ice crystals orient themselves horizontally as they fall. When light from a streetlamp hits them, it reflects vertically, creating straight columns that look like beams shooting into the sky. Our brains expect light to scatter. They are not designed to see perfectly straight columns of light at night. Cold air + ice crystals + modern LED streetlights (highly directional, extremely bright) creates an effect most of us never experienced historically. Older sodium lamps produced soft, diffuse glows. Modern LEDs produce sharp, aggressive pillars, especially in extreme cold. This combination produces light pillars regularly in winter. And this means something worse: Blue light is now being scattered above us and reflected back down, contaminating the night sky from every direction. That is why I call Norway a blue hell zone in winter. Cold should heal mitochondria. Darkness should protect them. LEDs destroy both.

Mauvika's Sword from Genshin Impact was one of my favorite projects this year!  We spent 2 weeks on it, made completely out of EVA foam and has over 300 built-in LEDs! Obviously I had to recreate the swords burning effect and LED strips and LED foam are always a perfect combo for that! Painting it with airbrush colors was also super fun and we are so proud of the final result! Let's hope for more sparkling light up prop projects in 2026!  Genshin Impact #mauvika Genshin Impact DE

✏️Tutorial on how to achieve the eyeball effect: This effect is achieved by adding 2 meshes that have inverted normals on them! One is for the whites of the eyes and one is for the iris itself. You can see how the meshes look like in the video below.

In regards to Sceptile, I've been working on something neat for the past few days (with help from Kapedani). That being integrating a custom unlock condition in Subspace. This has the player carry a seed, and throw it into a patch of dirt, climbing the vine which grows from it.
