Interesting feedback from a couple of 2K projector owners sharing that the feature isn’t showing on their 2K (HD) projectors/displays as of beta 1.

I’ve had a few messages asking why this is a big deal. Right now, if you have a scope cinema setup with blanking systems for the top and bottom of the projection screen it’s super painful to have to navigate streaming apps search menus. This is just one of the issues this fixes.

For the 1st time in Indian Cinema, certain action sequences in #Devara will blow up to 1.90:1 IMAX aspect ratio filling up the entire screen. 🥵 The standard aspect ratio for all Indian films is 2.35:1.

📢🚨 CCTV Footage of the alleged shooter in the parking garage with Fixed Aspect Ratio. Nothing else has been done to the footage. No contrast, sharpening, brightness, nothing. No AI processing. Just fixed the aspect ratio from being filmed from a camera in the courtroom at an angle to matching the corners of the monitor to the corners of the 16:9 aspect ratio of the NEC monitor used in the courtroom. Might be a better view for those looking into it. Zoomed shorter version also included. I used a Corner Positioner in Resolve to fix the aspect ratio and used standard Inspector Zoom.
