Two accidents happen back to back on two day. Same place , same Vehicle and same mistake. No lesson learned. NHAI should engage more good designers in road design. Right lane merge to expressway in very confusing place. People suddenly turn 90 degree without knowing danger.

First of all, this is NOT an Expressway, it’s a National Highway. So, there are expected intersections, though they could be managed and constructed with better design. But in both cases, the bikers are at fault. The hopeless drivers attitude of “I will drive my way, the other vehicle must see me and stop” MUST change. It’s a basic elementary level learning to look both ways before crossing, that people tend to forget. #RoadSafety

@NHAI_Official Nothing wrong in the road design. Why are bikers going into the bus bay and then taking a 90 degree turn? For turning right there is a right turn lane and should be used by all vehicles including bikes.

@NHAI_Official I didn't notice in the earlier video that that is an underpass. I thought it was a lay-by or something. I think the problem then might be speed perception of vehicles coming down the slope. Can't be that both bikers didn't see vehicles coming!
