OpenAI's CEO Sam Altman said Wednesday "there could be" other systems hacked by its AI agent after the company revealed last week that its technology carried out a hack of another AI company in what OpenAI called an "unprecedented cyber incident." When asked whether he's spoken to the Trump administration about slowing down AI development, Altman said, "We've talked about the need to pace it as the models get more capable, which I think is in everyone's interest." Altman met with lawmakers on Capitol Hill Wednesday to preview his company's newest AI model.
