"CAN I EXCHANGE MY FULLY PAID FLAT FOR YOUR RURAL LAND?" A white guy in Manchester, England had a frank discussion with an African immigrant about economic development and empowerment in Africa. The English guy asked my fellow African: 'Do you by any chance own land in Africa?' The brother said yes he owns about 10 hectares in his rural village. "So, why come all the way to England when you have the means of production that can make you very rich?' The African brother started giving excuses: the land is undeveloped; the land has no borehole; that he don't have agricultural equipment to till the land; the government is not supporting rural farmers and many other excuses. The Englishman stood there listening quietly. After 20 minutes of giving all sorts of excuses, my African brother looked up at the quiet Englishman, hoping he understood why he travelled thousands of kilometres to come to England to work in menial jobs! The Englishman ask him "Can I exchange my fully paid flat and give you the title deeds and my 2 cars for your 10 hectares of land in Africa?" The African brother was stunned. He did not understand why a white man with a fully furnished flat and everything, would want to go and farm on a rural undeveloped land. The white guy sat him down and explained: ask any white man, he would gladly develop that land into a highly successful farm. He would grow high value crops eg all types of vegetables, strawberries, start cattle fattening programmes and develop a highly successful farm. The Englishman told him all the wealth is in that piece of land. He can make millions of dollars from that fertile land. The African brother spent days pondering about what his white friend said. After several months of planning and selling all he had in England, my brother came back home and started farming on his 10 hectares of land: putting up a borehole, installing solar energy, started poultry, piggery and cattle fattening and a horticulture project. We should never under-value our rural farms and travel to go work in distant lands. Our future is in developing our rural land and turn it into highly productive farms. Here is Wenceslous Nyamupfukudza, a youth farmer, consultant and agribusiness expert helping all farmers including those developing in rural communities. He developed his rural farm and grows all types of vegetables and keeps cattle. He teaches other rural farmers how to effectively and efficiently use the land for maximum agricultural productivity. We need to change our mindset about the land in our rural areas! It is our wealth!!! Knowledge is potential power, understand and grow your specialised knowledge - Think and Grow rich!

Up to ~2,000 🇨🇳 fishing boats had gathered together and formed a “wall” near the Japan-China median line in the East China Sea on two occasions, in late 2025 and Jan 2026. The area where the fishing boats gathered was near the Japan-China median line, which defines the boundary of Japan's EEZ. The first time, around Dec 25, 2025 (Japan time), ~2,000 boats formed a huge inverted L-shape stretching 470km north to south and 230km east to west. The second time, around Jan 11, 2026, ~1,300 boats lined up in a stretch of 370km north to south. The two clusters coincided at 125 degrees east longitude. The fleet had been there for more than 24 hours, suggesting organized mobilization. Strong winds were forecast at the time. South Korean fishing boats returned to port, but the Chinese fishing boats crowded together at sea. "Even if they were trying to avoid bad weather, it's odd for them to form a formation on this scale for such a long period of time. It's hard to imagine them lining up for normal fishing operations or along the border of a fisheries agreement, so it's possible they were training." The gathering of fishing boats occurred amid worsening diplomatic tensions between Japan and China. "Following Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi's remarks (last November) regarding a Taiwan emergency, China may have chosen this location to mobilize its maritime militia as a demonstration." Satellite imagery of the second gathering, taken just before noon on Jan 11, confirmed the closely packed, stopped fleet. Spoofing of ship location information is unlikely. In some places, the distance between ships was less than 500m. "Considering the risk of being swept away by the tide, this is not a distance that can be considered safe." "China has the ability to disrupt international maritime logistics." Some fishing boat crews are known to cooperate with the 🇨🇳 government and military as maritime militia. Positioned as both soldiers and civilians, they are believed to have engaged in "gray zone operations," short of using military force, and have been involved in China's effective control of the South China Sea. Many of the vessels that gathered this time had departed from Zhejiang Province, home to one of China's largest fishing bases. At a meeting held in Zhoushan, Zhejiang Province, in Dec last year, discussions focused on military-civilian integration and national defense mobilization under the 15th Five-Year Plan, which begins in 2026.

To all of the people JUST learning about the HORRIFIC stuff that's been done to children for sick thrills, political, monetary and leverage gain, come in and grab a chair. My advice to you, would be to find your nearest conspiracy theorist and have a discussion, or two, or three, depending on what you can actually handle because, it is DEEP, DARK and VERY SICK. Let me further educate you before your journey. Trump IS NOT one of these people. He is the "outsider" that started the ball rolling on this in the early 2000's. It doesn't matter what the media, your followers, or peer pressure is making you think. They are driving a narrative because the "outsider", the guy not allowed in the club anymore, KNOWS THEIR SECRETS. They want him gone, so business can continue as normal. This spans from your local cities, to your states, to the federal government, to other countries, all the way up to the people you now call the elites, the 1%. The World Banks, The WEF, The W.H.O., the U.N. It's how it's all been run, for at minimum, decades. It's done for control and power. I will say trust some of those people you have called crazy conspiracy theorists about this stuff for years and years. So much more of what they say is true, rather than not. A LOT of what you learned and were taught, was a lie. The term "Conspiracy Theorists" originated, to HIDE THE ACTUAL TRUTH! 🤔 We're not always right, but our track record is phenomenal. You'll see. Jus' Sayin' ✌️ Pray, A LOT!🙏🙏🙏 YOU'RE GOING TO NEED IT FOR THIS ONE. GOD LOVES YOU AND BROUGHT YOU HERE FOR A REASON! Most of US, are at this stage,👇 ready for JUSTICE 👇 #WWG1WGA #NCSWIC

Taste is invisible until you try to write it down. This is probably my biggest lesson with AI building as of late. At Sundial, I get to work with really friggin' amazing analysts who know the art, and I see how much of our collective time now is now spent turning that art into playbooks or skills for an LLM. Encoding things like: "How would a great analyst actually look at this metric move?" or "What is ACTUALLY the interesting signal in this story versus noise?" or "How can we know if a product change actually moved the needle?" It's really humbling work! You write an instruction set. The LLM misses. You add more context. It still misses. You add even more. Now it's confused. You strip it back. Now it's too vague. You try a different framing. Better, but inconsistent. Works on Monday, fails on Tuesday. You go again. I've come to realize the gap between 70% quality and 95% quality is not 3 or 4 big things. It's more like 100s of small things. Which is exactly why you can't write an article about it, or copy it, or shortcut it! This gap *is* taste, quantified. The accumulated weight of a thousand small judgments you don't notice you're making, until you sit down to externalize them and realize you can't. Being good at something is not the same as being able to articulate why you're good at it. I now see two bottlenecks to making something better than today's generic AI: 1. Can you *see* what better looks like in the first place? 2. Even if you can see, can you *articulate* what that is in a way that the LLM can understand and systemize? #2 is now a new craft, the art of distilling the art. The people who can do it well are the ones building standout products.

Axie started in 2018. Creatures you could collect, battle, and raise while learning about a magical new technology called blockchain. Part of the original concept were axie homes called Terrariums. Places where your axies could live, get stronger, and harvest resources. Battles ended up getting prioritized instead, and Terrariums got shelved. But for eight years, that original idea held a special place in our hearts. Terrariums are a nod to that original dream. We're hard at work and our goal is to deliver the first version in late June. Here's how they'll work on day one: 1. You activate a plot of land. 2. You put your axies on it. 3. Every hour, the world ticks forward on its own. While you're away, your land is working. 4. It earns a reward called bAXS, the in-game currency that feeds back into the broader Axie economy. 5. To stay running, your land burns a fuel called Lunium. You get it two ways: buy packs, or let your land generate it slowly for free. 6. How much you earn scales with your axie power, a stat currently called Atia's Flame. Stronger (collectible) axies earn more points. More points means a bigger share of the prize pool. 7. Each land type has its own pool, split between everyone who owns that type. 8. There will be free terrariums that can be used to earn axie experience points (but not bAXS). These should also be useful for onboarding newcomers. The day-to-day is simple by design as we want to make sure that the gameplay is easy to grasp at first and doesn't become a grind for landowners. Learn more:

Abuja is a young city. It was born in 1991, officially. Addis Ababa, by contrast, was born in 1886, making it almost 140 years old. Their age difference is 104 years. Yet the Ethiopian city still parades its fair share of slums, neglected districts, and street beggars. I make this point because you obviously have never been there and have relied on a single image of a country that, just 25 years ago, was the third-poorest country in the world, to mock your nation’s capital. And that even revealed a rather narrow idea of what a city should look like. A city is not measured by the presence of tall, shiny buildings. Skyscrapers are not a universal marker of urban success, nor should they be a priority for Abuja. They are largely a response to population density and land scarcity. We think Abuja suffers from these because we have not had an FCT minister with city-planning skills in a long time. Land is not a scarce commodity here. What the city needs is functional infrastructure that allows for orderly expansion and eases demographic pressure on its existing districts, not vertical congestion for its own sake. The irony is that most of the shiny edifices you now see in Addis Ababa, including that green roundabout you think is the hallmark of a modern city (as if we don’t have Unity Fountain in Wuse 2, or a roundabout with a basketball court in Life Camp, and a demolished one with a football pitch also in Life Camp), were built within the last five years. The Addis Ababa I met less than ten years ago could easily be compared to a city like Kaduna, which tells you how much can change within the span of a single term. Nigeria, after all, is one of the few African countries that can boast of more than 50 urban centres capable of absorbing growth if hold our governors to account. It is also worth noting that some of the world’s most admired cities are not defined by skyscrapers. Cities like Paris and Rome have few to no high-rise buildings, and so does America’s Abuja, Washington, D.C. Yet they rank among the most functional and liveable cities in the world. By contrast, cities like New York and Singapore build vertically because land is a serious constraint. Even Oman, an oil-rich country, has developed without an obsession for shiny skyscrapers. Abuja has, no doubt, suffered from leadership gaps and weak city management in the past. But now Nyesom Wike is doing the Lord’s work. Before him, we had a mannequin in charge of Abuja for eight straight years. In the meantime, enjoy these views of Abuja.

When your pain, fear or resentment is consuming you, no one else can pull you out of the dark, because you ARE the dark. Your mindset. Your thoughts. YOU CONTROL where you work & live, who you live with, what you eat & drink, what time you sleep, how you think, how you feel, how you spend your energy & what you do with your spare time. YOU! These things may feel out of your control but they're not. They're all things we can change if we're unhappy but our MINDSET has us convinced we can't, by playing on our fears of the unknown & our own weaknesses. 'What if I can't find other work?' 'What if I don't find anyone else?' 'I don't have time to cook!' 'I don't have time to workout!' 'I have nothing to feel happy about' 'I can't sleep!' Your life will not change, unless YOU do! You need to change your mindset! No one can do it for you. You can CHOOSE to see silver linings OR just the possibility of rain. You can CHOOSE your HARD... - Struggle through a workout vs struggle to look at yourself & how unhealthy you've become - Struggle to learn a new skill vs struggle in a job you hate. Trying to see beyond your unhappiness, 'bad luck' & bad choices is confronting & can feel impossible...BUT it isn't!! It's possible! Not over night but gradually...taking ONE DAY AT A TIME! Be kind to yourself! Changing your mindset & working on overhauling years of negative thought processes is far from easy but in doing so, you'll reclaim your POWER & take back control of your own happiness. Choosing to go out into the sunshine to drink a cuppa (instead of staying cooped up indoors) won't make your problems disappear...BUT it gives you a few seconds of CALM to REFOCUS your thoughts & a dose of Vitamin D & fresh air, while feeling the warmth of the sun on your skin. In making that choice, you reinforce your self-worth: you deserve time for yourself & you deserve to feel good. It's a simple choice that can completely change how you feel for the better, even if just for a moment. In time, your days can become full of those moments & you'll no longer need to look for the light in the dark. You will BE the light! The beacon of your own happiness ❤️🫂 #mindset
