On invitation, yesterday I arrived in Imo State and went through Ogbaku, Ejemekwuru, Amakohia Ubi, Ndegwu Okuku, and Ireti communities. The rescued victims revealed that the kidnappers are eight in number and are strangers speaking Fulani. One of the kidnappers said he was kidnapped last week Friday around Portharcourt road and they trekked to Ejemekwuru Information gathered shows that these kidnappers are scattered across the above mentioned communities and other parts of Owerri West. The sad situation we are regarding kidnapping in Northern Nigeria. These different cases are all in southern Kaduna. The crime is not carried out by Fulani alone. Listen to their confessions. 1st Criminal: His name is Joshua Dogara. 30yrs from Kajuru LGA, Kaduna state. Joshua connived with his friend to invite Fulani kidnappers to kidnap his aged father for ransom. Second criminal is Jonathan Adoke. Also a local of the area. He is the one Joshua contacted to invite the Fulani kidnappers to kidnap his father. According to Jonathan, Joshua was the one that invited the Fulani kidnappers. That he only showed them Joshua's house & how to get the father. The 3rd criminal is Hosea Ibrahim. He is also an indigene of Kajuru LGA. His own case is arranging the kidnapping of his father in-law (wife's father). But the kidnappers are Kadara tribe like him, and are also in the bush holding their victims for ransom. The kidnappers are Halilu and Silas, and 5 people were killed in the house before taking the inlaw away. Kudos to the Nigeria Police Force for successfully attesting these kidnappers.

People forget that even Dr. Ahmad Gumi felt the pain of insecurity. In 2014, his biological brother was kidnapped on his farm. Sheikh Dr. Ahmad Gumi was once a direct victim of the insecurity Nigerians face today. His brother was kidnapped on his farm along the Abuja Kaduna road. When Dr. Gumi contacted the Commissioner of Police, he explained how critical the situation was the ransom location was different from where the victim was held, and the kidnappers were extremely smart and organized. Yesterday two of our brothers kidnapped befor Easter Sunday from Udo Quarters Ubulu-Uku, Delta State were released somewhere at Urhonigbe, Edo State. TODAY, ONE AK-47 RIFLE AND LIVE AMMUNITION WERE RECOVERED, WHILE ONE SUSPECTED KIDNAPPER WAS NEUTRALIZED. Earlier today, operatives of the Special Anti-Kidnapping Squad of the Delta State Police Command engaged suspected kidnappers in a gun duel. During the operation, one of the suspects was neutralized and an AK-47 rifle with live ammunition was recovered. This criminal gang has been terrorizing commuters along the Ogwashi-Uku/Ubulu-Unor Road and the Issele-Uku/Ubulu-Uku Road. Recall that on Sunday, 10th May 2026, the gang reportedly kidnapped a young lady along the Issele-Uku/Ubulu-Uku axis and victim family paid ransom to the kidnappers. Today, 18th May 2026, intelligence received from SafeCity Forest Intels was swiftly relayed to the Anti-Kidnapping Squad, who immediately acted on the information, trailed the suspects, and engaged them.
