You hockey fans make these posts every major tournament thinking its some original thought provoking piece. Meanwhile hockey wished it had the exposure soccer does. There's a difference alright, just not the one you think
One looked like a dive but definitely an embellishment. The other looked like a legal, if hard, bodycheck. Hockey remains the superior sport.
I donโt blame the players I blame the league. If the rules didnโt reward diving the players wouldnโt be doing it.
@MikeP77Doglover Apples to oranges comparison. 1 is played or enjoyed by 8 billion people. The other maybe 500 million. 1 has 58 second shifts. The other has near 90 minute shift. 1 has shin guards that cover 1/2 the shin. The other has full body armor. Now do golf as a sport.
