Magyar's update: Three out of four hunted SAM systems were destroyed by B-2 drones of Unit 13, 414th Separate Brigade “Magyar’s Birds,” on the night of April 23. Pilots of Unit 13, 414th Brigade USF detected four and destroyed three SAM systems in a single night in the temporarily occupied Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia regions, using new Ukrainian-made MiddleStrike assets B-2 (7–11 kg warhead): two Tor-M2 systems and one Osa. Targets engaged included: a temporary deployment point of enemy 3rd Army units in Kadiivka*, temporarily occupied Luhansk region; an artillery depot of the 27th Motorized Rifle Division, 2nd Army in Kypuche, temporarily occupied Luhansk region; a UAV unit and logistics depots of the 90th Tank Division in Dovzhansk, temporarily occupied Luhansk region; a logistics depot in Donetsk; a field ammo depot near Vilne, temporarily occupied Donetsk region; and a freight train that briefly disrupted rail traffic near Raihorodka, temporarily occupied Luhansk region. The infamous 64th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade of the 35th Army – the same one that rampaged through Bucha in 2022 – caught the smoke itself. As a result of the attack, one launcher was destroyed and the other sustained severe damage. Operators of the Unmanned Systems Forces struck two Tor-M2 SAM systems worth $50 million On one of the active front sectors, operators of the 412th Nemesis Regiment of the USF detected and hit two enemy Tor-M2 surface-to-air missile systems. As a result of the attack, one launcher was destroyed and the other sustained severe damage. The Tor-M2 is a short-range SAM system used by the enemy as part of layered air defense to cover troops and facilities from Ukrainian aircraft, missiles, and UAV strikes, as well as to protect medium- and long-range air defense systems such as the S-300 and S-400. Its interception radius for aerial targets is up to 15 km. The cost of a new launcher is about $25 million.
