I discovered a crazy Dukes Of Hazzard museum in the middle of the mountains in Virginia and it is a FREE activity less than 2 hours from DC. It is called "Cooter's Place" and it is run by one of the old cast members of the show. It has the famous car from the show, and some other vehicles and a lot of old merch. They also have a cafe with smash burgers and live music on weekends. It is pretty small, so unless you are the biggest fan ever, not worth going for alone. But It's right down the street from Luray Caverns, so you can do both. You can even do some of Skyline Drive on the trip if you want.

In a 1987 interview on the Great Philosophers, philosopher Martha Nussbaum lays out Aristotle's three-part case against material reductionism, the idea that what you fundamentally are is just the stuff you're made of.
