Two Vehicle Arresting Barriers (VABs) were installed and have undergone their first rounds of thorough testing within the I-17 flex lanes corridor. This is the first of many tests for the flex lanes and their safety systems before the lanes are opened to drivers later this year.

Are there any plans to widen from Sunset Pt to the 69? That’s where traffic begins & ends… this will only be half the solution since 1/3 of traffic heads to the Prescott area.
