The Green Park-Haile Selassie underpass is nearing completion. This state-of-the-art underpass will help reduce traffic gridlocks along the busy Haile Selassie roundabout. It will also ensure the safe movement of pedestrians through the underpass. In addition, it will shorten waiting times for both drivers and people crossing the area. The construction of Green Park Underpass is progressing well, #OneForTheRoad. The underpass once completed will feature well-lit corridors, retail outlets, and CCTV surveillance, mirroring the multipurpose pedestrian tunnels found in urban cities. Visited the T-Chowk Flyover, Shaheen Chowk Underpass, and Faizabad Interchange Remodeling Project today to review progress and ongoing construction work. All three projects are progressing at a strong pace. Authorities were directed to further improve traffic flow at Faizabad by expanding Loop-1 and Loop-2 to three lanes, and to enhance the overall aesthetics through landscaping and improved lighting. It was instructed that all available resources be utilized to complete these projects at the earliest. Once completed, they will significantly improve traffic flow, reduce congestion, and provide major relief to citizens. The T-Chowk Flyover will also benefit commuters traveling between the twin cities and those coming from Punjab. Key updates: • T-Chowk Flyover is 80% complete and set to open for traffic in early December. • All pile caps and girders have been cast; 75% of retaining walls are complete. • Shaheen Chowk Underpass: 70 girders launched; the remaining will be finalized soon. Ramp-1 and Ramp-2 are fully completed. • Faizabad Interchange: Pile foundations completed; RCC walls finished; asphalt work is underway. These projects will greatly enhance mobility, ease daily commuting, and benefit thousands of citizens every day.

Although this was filmed today, the one-way section of Braid Road opened to two-way traffic yesterday. (There is a fault with the crossing that will be fixed.) I will miss the bike lanes, but not the delays to public transport we saw on Comiston Road. (1/2)

According to Min of Transport: Borrowdale Road to be widened. 6 lanes from Borrowdale school to Sam Levy's. Road will fliter at Sam Levy's. 6 lanes to Borrowdale police. 4 lanes to Glen forest. Grade separation at the Churchill intersection and Harare drive intersection.
