Well said. Humans do not visit the local veterinary clinic for their treatments, and vice-versa. At the moment, there’s still an outdated requirement to test new human medicines on two animal species, first a rodent, then a dog or a primate. The science key is that today we know that no animal model holds predictive value for human patient responses, in medical research and safety testing, you can read more about that here:
