Politics is hard work. I am a Liberal Democrat because we know what matters are not the slogans and catchphrases of the moment but hard work at the local level, the issues that voters care about. That might be immigration, but it might also be potholes.

The reason why the LibDems got 72 seats is the electoral system more than anything else. % wise you actually did worse than any of the elections of 1992 to 2010.
