Liberty has one of the best Mid Major prospects in the 2026 NBA Draft in 6’7 Senior Point Forward Zach Cleveland. Cleveland has been one of the most versatile players in the country this season averaging 11/8/7 along with 1.6 blocks and 1.4 steals a game. He’s also shooting 61% from the field. Cleveland’s mix of playmaking , athleticism, defense, and finishing at 6’7 gives him a unique mix of versatility and he uses that to his advantage on both ends. He’s shown the ability to guard the 1-5 at a high level this season and has been one of the best mid major defenders in the country on the defensive end, using his athleticism, instincts, and size to his advantage. Darryn Peterson's high school playmaking tells a different story than his year at Kansas. Peterson had 38 assists and 38 turnovers in college, which is not the line you expect from a potential franchise lead guard. Part of it was his off-ball usage. Part of it was a Kansas roster that didn't shoot well. But DP averaged 5.3 assists as a senior at Prolific Prep, and had the ball in his hands the majority of the time. He delivered bounce passes into the paint, whipped cross-court skip passes, and looked the part of a point guard with far more explosiveness off the dribble. If that burst returns in the NBA, he could become an excellent shot-creator. These highlights are a glimpse of it.

AJ Dybantsa averages 23.4 True Shooting Attempts per game. Kansas held him to 16. Self implemented a tremendous defensive game plan. The Jayhawks kept size, length, and athleticism on him at all times with Budinga + Tiller. They sent earlier help on his drives, late help on his mid-post ISOs, and flat-out doubled him at times. They forced the ball out of his hands, and he got it to his teammates — though it was a hair too late at times. But what stood out to me, and what has stood out to me against tougher teams with better athletes, is that Dybansta struggles a bit to create separation/clean looks vs. players of similar size and athleticism. He also picks his dribble up far too often and it leads him to settle for tough 2s, which teams will live with. He needs to either improve his handle, improve his three-point shot, or put on weight. Maybe all three.

There aren’t many 6’7, 20 year old primary ball handlers who can self-generate paint touches, navigate screens and flash the craftiness that Sergio De Larrea has...⤵️ Sergio De Larrea isn’t a particularly impressive finisher at the rim, 58.7% and just 43.7% as a driver, BUT his foundation but physically and from a skillset perspective is more advanced then he gets credit for and is a better foundation then a number of projected lottery picks. At 6’7, De Larrea boasts true positional size and strength, which he pairs with impressive burst and handle to create legitimate separation, both in isolation and out of the pick-and-roll. As a ball handler, he plays with advanced pace, regularly snaking screens and getting defenders stuck on his back. He is exceedingly comfortable dribbling through the heart of defenses. Once in the lane, he has the frame/strength to handle moderate physicality but it’s his craft around the rim that really pops and highlights his offensive upside. Players at De Larrea’s size rarely have his combination of pacing, ball handling and creativity. His ability to play at top speed while being able to immediately de-accelerate is exciting, especially at his size. He does a great job actively keeping defenders on there heels, with a set of slight dribble hesitations and eye/head manipulation. He plays off two feet in the paint and has an awesome step-through game. De Larrea’s 9.0% turnover rate and 22% free throw rate as a driver only add to the optimism around his offensive projection. #NBADraft #SergioDeLarrea No Ceilings

Soliman's recently made the move to play Nantes in Pro B, getting his first action at a higher level of professional basketball First thing that pops on film is his length, he's very versatile, can defend multiple positions, handle and shot is coming together, plus the footwork and touch as well, advanced for his age. With so many elite talent's in the 2009 gen, Soliman for me remains as the top prospect in that class, a special talent who's only scratching the surface.

Arkansas 6’3 Freshman Darius Acuff has had an extremely impressive start to his season. Through his first four games he’s averaging 20/3/5 while shooting 50% from the field and 42% from three on 6 attempts a game. Acuff has been one of the early best freshmen and draft prospects in college basketball this season, with his ability to score and playmake. Acuff has scored the ball on all 3 levels at an elite level, shooting 63% at the rim, 46% from the mid range and 42% from three all on high usage. He’s an advanced PNR operator and has been one of the best transition players in the country as well. Acuff’s craft as a creator for himself and his teammates is extremely impressive for his age. Acuff’s mix of 3 level scoring, playmaking , and pace for his age makes him one of the most talented players in this years draft and he’s made a strong case in being a potential top 10 pick.

Penn Wing Ethan Roberts has been one of the best mid major players in CBB so far this season. Through his first four games he’s averaging 24/4/3 while shooting 47% from three on 5 attempts a game. Roberts is a high level shot maker and shooter who can effectively score without the ball in his hands and as a creator. Roberts has a strong ability to shoot movement threes and is a strong passer for his size as well. He can also attack and finish at the rim as well. Roberts is also elite at drawing fouls and his combination of rim pressure and shooting makes him a strong scoring threat.

UNC Asheville has a player with one of the highest ceilings in college basketball in 6’7 Sophomore Guard Kameron Taylor. Taylor has had a strong season where he’s averaging 16/6/3 and is top 10 in PPG, and APG in the Big South. Taylor is one of the best athletes and at the rim creators in all of college basketball at 6’7 which is something you don’t see often for a player who’s Taylor’s age. Taylor is shooting an impressive 64% at the rim on 90 attempts which is one of the highest in the country and he’s doing it with impressive skill as a creator and driver. Taylor is also a strong passer for his height with the ability to create for his teammates and it’s helped him be one of the biggest PNR standout’s where he’s 88th percentile as a PNR player. Taylor is also a versatile defender who can defend multiple positions using his athleticism and length.

Yaxel Lendeborg was by far the best player on the floor across both Sweet Sixteen games in Chicago last night. 23 PTS, 12 REB, 7 AST, 2 STL on an 83.6 TS% while finishing +20 in a win over Alabama. The 1st Team All-American does a little bit of everything at a high level on both ends, with few holes in his game. The off-the-dribble threes, point-forward playmaking, long outlet passes, and power/patience as a finisher really stood out tonight. On a late development curve, so still clearly getting much better at 23 years old.

One of the better offensive players in the portal.
