“Hey, I’ve got a story for you. My coworker told me today about an incident that happened on March 28 (which, admittedly, she took far too long to mention). She ordered food and a coffee through Uber. When the driver arrived, security cameras captured him cleaning a spill from the coffee lid by licking it. He then blew his nose into a napkin and used that same napkin to wipe the lid, just seconds before handing it to her. Security stopped her from drinking it before it was too late. I have video of the incident and photos of the driver. I thought it was important for people to be aware that their food may not always be safe, especially when it isn’t in a sealed bag. I only did a short Uber "shift" today and went ahead and wrapped up early for Sunday night and I'm back home. You may ask what's important about that to you JC? Well, let me tell you. As of today, it has now been exactly one year since my last critical intervention with Tesla FSD. It was on v13.2.8, and it took place in a rural part of east Texas (Ainsworth, TX). At that time, FSD didn't appear to recognize that a school bus on the opposite side of the highway was in the process of putting out their extendable stop sign, so I disengaged by manually braking for the school bus. This moment is memorialized in the first part of this clip. Fast forward to version 14.2, and FSD had handled school buses perfectly. The latest example from a few weeks ago in the second part of this clip, but at this point, I have seen this over and over now with zero times ever having to disengage. Also, not only has it been 12 months since my last critical engagement, it's been 42,847 miles since that disengagement (thanks to lots of Uber and a handful of road trips in the past 12 months). Don't get me wrong, I disengage multiple times per day every day doing Uber for non-critical things such as faulty Uber pins, passengers wanting to go to a different spot than the pin they previously set, passengers wanting to go a specific route of their choosing, Tesla NAV wanting to case the entire neighborhood block to get to a destination instead of just making the damn left turn 😂. But none of these things mean a hill of beans to where we are going, which is saving lives. If driving in an 8-figure route around a Wal Mart parking lot instead of disengaging FSD can save even one life, I will do that for an hour (look kids, Big Ben, Parliament). I am certainly no expert, but if Tesla FSD isn't the greatest software ever developed in the history of man, then whip me, beat me and call me Edna. Because I'm clueless to what could be better. National Security hackathon yesterday. Unlike the others I’ve been to, I did not give myself a very high chance of winning. It’s not remotely close to my fields of expertise. And I didn’t win. LOL. Yes, I have taken a LOT of Ls in my life. But every single L I’ve taken, I’ve walked away stronger from. In my extremely sleep deprived state on my Uber ride back home, a thought occurred to me. An idea that unironically wouldn’t have come to me if I didn’t go to a military hackathon. A generational B2C idea that I am willing to drop everything I have on hand to all in. No, it doesn’t have anything to do with anything I’ve mentioned before. And it has nothing to do with the video that I’m attaching to this post. I’m showing my hackathon project because, even though I didn’t win, I am proud of what I managed to build. And I might as well keep practicing my presentation skills, for the day that I do it for reals. Ty for the event Cerebral Valley U.S. Army, was fun, learned a lot.

I’ve now had 3 people confess their love for me, some tell me they are going to self harm or end their life if I don’t reciprocate their affection. One said they were going to cancel me and make sure I never could do YouTube again by telling people lies about me. Some even went as far as contacting my ex. All I did was tell them I didn’t think I should continue talking to them in the nicest way possible. 2/3 of them I never even met in person. 2 of them left over 40 missed calls and 300+ combined messages in a span of 1 week. One asked for my address to Uber an hour here. Ever seen Baby Reindeer? People are dangerous and it makes me not want to date for the foreseeable future. Dating is fucked in 2024 - I didn’t believe people who told me this. I have been physically shaking in bed fearful for 24 hours as I naturally avoid conflict.

FSD V14.1.7 | Near Accident This is without a doubt the closest I have come to getting into an accident in a long time. I think had I not taken over and slammed on the brakes we would not have slowed down in time. You can see that FSD does an incredible job reacting to the car (even before I noticed it) and was slowing down, but it was not slowing down enough to stop in time. As soon as I saw the car swerving to the right I worried she was going to bounce back into my lane so that is when I decided to go full on the brakes to stop the car. You can see prior to me taking over we were full regen braking (which is FSD reacting well) but it wasn't using any real brakes at all, and ABS was not active until I took over. Let me know what you all think in the comments. I still think FSD is incredible - the reality is if you watch the video the car saw and reacted to the situation before I did, it just didn't brake as agressively as it needed to in this situation. FSD + an attentive driver is without a doubt in my mind still safer than a normal human driver who is not using FSD.

Can Tesla Self-Driving pay for its own $99 subscription? The goal is simple - make $99 with Uber Deliveries using only Tesla FSD. The idea that a car can drive itself and 'make money' seems a bit far fetched, but we are basically there now with FSD. This video is a different style from my usual FSD videos, I try to edit it to be a bit more engaging to watch and fast paced. The idea that a car can drive itself and 'make money' seems a bit far fetched, but we are basically there now with FSD. This video is a different style from my usual FSD videos, I try to edit it to be a bit more engaging to watch and fast paced.
