He asked her to leave, she didn’t so he detained her until the police arrived. If the genders were reserved it would be a no questions asked arrest.

One thing she said that piqued my interest was that she told him, "you can't talk to me that way". No doubt in my mind she was sassy with this dude and he overreacted. She's not telling the entire story.

She was in the store while it was closed. I’ve had that happen at Dollar General before too. Vendors come in very early, before the store opens to do their work and customers think they can sneak in. Um, no, sir/maam, we’re not open yet.

I, honestly don't think anyone is wrong here. I'm sure the guy had people robbing the store too many times to not do anything about it. He misunderstood and possibly language barrier. The girl was just misunderstood by the guy. A lot was going on and he's trying his best.

Did the cop really just ask her did she want to press charges? Wtf He locked her in there cuz she “potentially” is a thief. Being inside the store when it’s closed. He’s sitting on her to restrain her from walking out the store to wait in the cops. Man was just doing his job. Plus he said look at the cameras. I bet he’s the one who called too
