Ubisoft had a chance to create a Chris Redfield-level icon with Aiden Pearce & Watch Dogs, especially in the absence of a new GTA🚀 It’s a shame they went the “one game per character” approach which ruined Assassin’s Creed, and ended up ruining WD too🥺

Assassin’s Creed Unity could have been a perfect AC game if Ubisoft had taken more time to polish it before release. This game was ahead of its time in so many ways. Ubisoft should remake AC Unity in the future.

Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced Parkour vs. The Original Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag Parkour. Ubisoft did a really great job with the new parkour mechanics. It’s much faster and more fluid than the original. But there are some issues as well. I hope they fix them before launch.

Watch Dogs E3 Demo 2012 Ubisoft fooled the whole world by showing off Gameplay footage that even if they were asked today with all the resources they have to create a Game that would have this kind of physics and NPC interaction mechanics, they wouldn't be capable of making. Watch Dogs isn't a bad game at all, I personally enjoyed it when I played it but holy shit did Ubisoft set the expectations of this game way too high

Supposedly this is the opening for the leaked artbook of Assassin’s Creed Shadows I do a small break down of the laughable intro. Even here, you can smell the begging for points. “We triple checked!” Also, yes, the child character did live with a monk, and the “consultant” they had is an expert in 1 thing and 1 thing only: child rape which she calls transgenerational love between monks and little boys. Now obviously what she’s actually an expert in isn’t going to be in a game, but it’s just an interesting parallel.

Watch Dogs 2 suffered indirectly from Ubisoft first mistake of making false advertising for Watch Dogs 1. Watch Dogs 2 is the one Game where actual gameplay footage ACTUALLY looked identical to the E3 Footage that was shown from Ubisoft. But because of their previous mistake with Watch Dogs 1, everyone assumed that this Game would be a downgrade, as a result not many people cared or were hyped about it. Watch Dogs 2 remains one of the few gems that is under-appreciated and underrated. P.S This Game is from 2016 and the Graphics look incredible

Watch Dogs: Legion to me felt like going backwards. This is what killed the whole Watch Dogs franchise, even though Ubisoft implemented Ray Tracing with this game, everytime I play it I feel like it lacks any form of soul with no clear art direction. Watch Dogs 2 on the other hand which came out in 2016 feels much more alive and doesn't look like it has aged much at all. Could Ubisoft just improve on this instead of evolving backwards? They cooked with Watch Dogs 2 and then forgot their recipe with Watch Dogs: Legion, after that they decided to give up on working on this series that always had a huge potential.
