UC San Diego is sounding the alarm that incoming students can't do basic math. They've had to add remedial courses covering elementary and junior high level skills. California has increased education spending nearly $40 billion during Newsom's tenure. And this is the result.

18% of freshman at UC San Diego could NOT pass Algebra 1 which is a remedial math class considered to be on an 8th grade level. That’s almost 1 in 5 college freshman who can’t do 8th grade math. I’m sure the answer is to increase taxes to give more money to public education 🤣

The rate of incoming freshmen being accepting into college that can’t do math is plummeting, it’s increased by 30x in some colleges “Since getting rid of standardized testing as a requirement in 2020, the rate of incoming students at UC San Diego who can't even do high school math has increased 30x. These aren't middle schoolers, they're students at one of California's top public universities” “Yet the UC Regents won't even consider bringing back standardized testing.” There has been a lot of outrage from staff paying for this to be changed but so far there has been no changes. The best they’ve been able to do is get a review launched that doesn’t even have a completion date until June 2027 The Fall 2027 semester remains test-free Democrats want young people not smart because people like this are much easier to manipulate

When we had our son and adopted our daughter, I couldn't wait to send them to Minnesota public schools. Now, 50% of Minnesota students can't read at grade level. 50% can't do math at grade level. This is unacceptable. This is criminal. Minnesota schools used to be a model for the country. Our kids deserve that again.

Chicago has a high school built for 1,000 students. Today it has 27 students. It employs 28 adults. Taxpayers are spending nearly $100,000 per student. And not one student is proficient in reading or math. The only thing it's teaching is how government wastes your money.

A state that never had slaves will be paying people that were never slaves State Rep. @AsmKateSanchez is raising the alarm on this. I can't say I'm shocked this nonsense is making its way out of the corrupt California legislature

AWESOME ‼️ The 15 freeway Temecula border patrol checkpoint in California is active! For those that don’t know. This is a HUGE deal. This is one of the 2 main freeways that lead from the Mexico San Diego border north into California The amount of illegals that will drive through here is massive. The freeway starts from San Diego and leads into places places like San Bernardino, Riverside and into Los Angeles and further north This needs to be open every day

ICE detain yet another father during elementary school drop off hours—while his child begs to at least say goodbye. Arrest was so intrusive into students routine—crossing guards had to "divert children around this melee." This is 3rd arrest of a parent outside elementary school in San Diego area the past 2 weeks. One volunteer said that he walked several 7 and 8 year old children away from the incident—forced to answer questions like why "armed masked men" were taking someone’s dad away. Park Dale Lane Elementary School is located in Encinitas, California. #DemsUnited

This is on top of a State Audit that just classified 8 separate agencies as at "high-risk" of serious "waste, fraud, abuse, or mismanagement," with the number doubling during Newsom's tenure. The Auditor found, among other things, that the State has missed 6 straight financial reporting deadlines and that massive improper payments for SNAP, Medi-Cal, and EDD are putting billions at risk.
