¡YA QUE LLEGUÉ! 😬 El ‘Tato’ Noriega reveló las razones por las cuáles Sergio Ramos dijo que sí a Rayados. Así va el fichaje del español. 📲 #LigaMX #Clausura2025 #SergioRamos #Rayados

Its a mental rule I didn't know existed I get an intentional illegal run up should be penalised but the player slips

Yeah I think they will change the rule, player. not trying to gain any advantage in this example. Retake seems fairer than disallowed goal.

The video proves the ball moves but when you slip the turf can move the ball . There’s no proof he touches the ball twice

Yeah fair point. Very unusual for UEFA to post their evidence too so they must be 100% behind it. UEFA: "Although minimal, the player made contact with the ball using his standing foot before kicking it, as shown in the attached video clip"

My issue with the decision was the speed at which it was made. I've looked at dozens of angles and I'm still not 100% convinced of double touch. I guarantee if this had been eg Mbappe, the goal would have stood. All a bit sus for me.

It's amazing how practically every single piece of footage appears to prove nothing, one way or the other. Seeing as, unlike the World Cup, there's no sensors in Champions League footballs, how did VAR come to a double touch decision? And how was it arrived at so quickly?

Yeah I agree, the speed of decision definitely has people questioning it. Even though if all decisions were that quick, VAR would have a much higher acceptance level amongst fans 🤣

Think football is at risk of being ruined by technicalities, offside is to stop poaching, even a foot over the line can’t be classed as poaching, 8 second rule of something coming in for keepers, can they drop the ball pick it up and restart the count? 1/2
