Agree with the general sentiment but the idea that, "Everything of value instantly disappears" shows a lack of understanding of economics. Even with free unlimited energy people will still have to dedicate their time to things. This means there will still be an excange of value needed as people decide what they want to focus their time on. It would certainly disrupt things but similar to how fossile fuels unlocked an almost unimaginable amount of human potential, ZPE power generation would do the same. It's a technological singularity but it would not crash the economy. It would do the exact opposite.

We need to keep hammering that point until everyone understands that this is the ultimate goal, not the aliens, not even the technology, but changing the world where there is nothing to fight over. Once we get there then the aliens will start vacationing here openly.

I think this is why they want depopulation so badly. I think they probably agreed that you can't have this tech with 8 billion people. Has to be a 1 world system in their eyes. Faustian deal, hedonic treadmill etc.
