When considering high pressing — whether from a goal kick or in open play — I was long a believer in full zonal marking and the idea of compactness at all costs and 'force them wide'. But over time, I began to question this approach and ask myself: Is there a way to create more favourable conditions to consistently generate goalscoring opportunities? That curiosity led me to study Gian Piero Gasperini’s Atalanta — a coach and team that have had a significant influence on how I view the defending phase of the game. From there, I began implementing man-oriented high pressing as a core defensive principle with the teams I worked with. Starting with the U15s, the impact was immediate. We achieved more ball regains in central areas and, as a result, created more goalscoring opportunities directly from our pressing moments. Beyond the tactical outcomes, this approach also exposed players to more 1v1 defending situations, while naturally developing their anticipation and interception skills. Importantly, nothing was trained in isolation. Every session linked the pressing phase to the attacking transition. The principle was simple: Win the ball → Play forward. This same defensive principle was adopted by the first team at Røa, and it became a key focus throughout last season. The consistency of the idea — and the conviction behind it — played a major role in our success, regardless of the opposition. I’ve been reporting the threats I’ve been receiving from Pakistani and Bengali Muslims in Swansea, but the police have repeatedly refused to help me. And I can’t help but believe it’s because I’ve filed a complaint against an Imam from the local mosque, the same Imam responsible for my wrongful arrest. This man even showed up at my basketball match with eight thugs, trying to intimidate me. He demanded that I delete my Facebook, X, and YouTube accounts, and that I stop saying Tommy Robinson 🇬🇧 is not a racist or that the white people who support him are not racists. When I refused to be bullied by this lunatic, he took my photo and name and circulated them across Muslim communities throughout the UK deliberately making me a target. People don’t realise how dangerous this is. It only takes one extremist to label me an “enemy of Islam” and end my life. Yet the police treat this like a joke. To make things even more worrying, the police officer handling my complaint started the conversation by bringing up “pro-Palestine” completely unprompted. That alone shows he came into the call with his own agenda long before he even listened to my concerns. And then, somehow, while I was making a complaint about being threatened, this incompetent officer found a way to blame me. All charges against me have already been dropped, yet he still acted like he knows better than the judges and the CPS. Was he biased? Or simply incapable? I honestly don’t know anymore. All I want to know is this, is what this police officer said on the call actually true? Because nothing about any of this feels like justice.

IS IT ADVISABLE TO MARRY A WOMAN WHO IS MORE CAREER-DRIVEN THAN YOU? Hello, friends. Welcome to another episode of Mr & Mrs Better Half. It is designed to strengthen marriages and relationships that will lead to marriage, with wisdom from God's Word. Sometimes ago, I asked some friends, ‘what do you think causes major friction in a marriage?’ One of the answers was money. On further probing, we got into one of the big money issues: “Finances are often problematic when the wife earns more.” A follow-up question: Since few earn millions on their 1st job, how did these women build their finances to surpass their husbands’? Again, we hit another interesting note- ‘some women are too ambitious! If they would just ‘chill’ things would be okay.’ This statement threw up so many questions. Should a wife deliberately go for a low-paying job to avoid earning more than her husband? Should she also perform poorly to ensure she doesn’t get promoted? If she’s offered a raise, should she refuse? Of course, these things sound silly but these are actual options some couples have considered in their homes to preserve the peace. Sometimes, the man actually starts out earning more but calamity strikes and his business/career goes downhill. So the once ‘balanced’ household turns upside down because the woman now pulls most of the financial weight. The big question you should ask is this. ‘Why should money (something so many seem to be chasing) which should make life easier become the very thing that can cause unhappiness? There are 4 things I would like you to consider today- Changing times, Culture, Acceptance and Attitude. A) Changing Times: Men, the days when women in the workplace were oddities have since gone. With advancements in technology, many of the more physical jobs have been taken over by machines. This means that there’s no reason women should be sidelined on the grounds of being physically weaker than men. This coupled with the realization of a woman’s right to express her intelligence means the world has made much progress where women in the workplace are concerned. Today there is hardly any industry where you will not find women doing remarkable things. As a result, it is not uncommon for husbands & wives to earn similar salaries or have the wives even bringing more. The truth is that most men like the added household income- who wouldn’t? The only thing is that they just want to earn more than their wives. This clearly becomes an issue of self-esteem and ego. Please understand that you can’t derive your sense of self from money. Many men think being a man is all about bringing in money. It takes a lot more than that to be a real man. Different things make a man. They include the ability to provide, lead, protect, nurture and love. Men you have to bring more to the table than just money to be an exemplary head of your household. So stop being hung up on money alone. (B) Let’s go to Culture. In the past women were touted as the homemakers while men barely lifted a finger in their homes. What men didn’t understand is that being a homemaker is a very marketable skill! A good homemaker is likely to be very skilled in people and money management, multi-tasking, negotiation skills, etc. You’d think that keeping a woman in the house would incapacitate her in the business terrain but you’d be wrong! Women develop the soft skills required for top-tier management quite early in life! Coupled with formal education, a woman who truly wants to succeed in business is a force to reckon with. Perhaps we should take a look at how we raise our sons these days. We might just be doing them a disservice! (C) Let’s discuss Acceptance. As a man, I understand one’s ego can take a pounding if your wife earns more. Single men dating ladies that earn more often vow to themselves that they'll turn the financial tables around before they get married or shortly after. Like it or not, this doesn’t always happen. Sometimes a woman’s gift will shoot her to the peak of her profession. What will you do? Will you kill yourself trying to earn more? Will you resent her success or do the mature and supportive thing and accept it? I have come to know a certain truth. As much as it might be your preference, who earns more in your relationship is not your call. I will repeat this. It is not your call to determine who earns more in this life. Everyone has a race to run. God has blessed everyone with a unique gift. You cannot determine the extent of another person’s potential. If you can't cope with a successful lady you actually have a problem with self-esteem which is not her problem; it’s yours. Single guys, when you court a lady, look beyond her hips, lips and fingertips and determine her inner ‘horsepower’. Can you envision whom she is likely to be if all things work out for her good? Will you be intimidated by her success? There are ladies who are incredibly brilliant, driven and ambitious. You can tell they are loaded from the onset. Such people tend to have a light shine on them and often end up in the public eye doing great things. You shouldn’t marry someone like that and try to cap her … you will kill her spirit, kill the marriage or kill yourself. Remember that your wife also wants to die empty. Your responsibility as a husband is to give her wings to fly. Be a real man, a secure man. Manage your ego and support her. Now if this is difficult for you to stomach, please don’t marry her. In your house, everyone should be a cheerleader urging each one to victory. If you know you've the tendency to be jealous of people’s progress or be competitive, marry wisely. More importantly, deal with this weakness. It’s a bad one & reeks of emotional immaturity. (D) Finally- Attitude. Sometimes the husbands try to be supportive but the attitudes of the wives make it very hard. I have already addressed the men on attitude and the need to build their self-confidence and be supportive of their wives, but now I’ll speak to the wives. To the women: Do you lord the fact that you earn more over your husband? Do you seize the reins and make the big decisions? If you keep cutting down your husband because you earn more money, you pull down your home with your hands. Please don’t get it twisted. The man remains the head of the home. Don’t let money or your position at work get to your head. Pride is unattractive in anyone and that includes you. Cultivate a gentle, quiet and humble spirit. It’s important to note that money or wealth will always amplify who you really are. If you are compassionate and respectful you will continue to be so regardless of the money you make. If you are crass, rude and disloyal, money will make that more apparent and cause problems in the home. Remember that marriage is a partnership. Your success is really “our success”. His support helped you become successful. Even if he has not been supportive still carry your blessing with decorum and don’t disrespect him. Remember the blessing comes from God. A woman that sees God’s perspective when it comes to the marriage institution will not misbehave when blessed. God has chosen to bless your family through you. Be humbled by the blessing and obedient to God’s order. To both man and wife: keep praying for each other’s success. Both of you should do your best, no one taking advantage of the other. Keep aspiring to get better and more productive. Keep pushing the limits and be the best you can be. God will cause joy to fill your home. I hope this has been helpful to you. IS IT ADVISABLE TO MARRY A WOMAN WHO IS MORE CAREER-DRIVEN THAN YOU? Hello, friends. Welcome to another episode of Mr & Mrs Better Half. It is designed to strengthen marriages and relationships that will lead to marriage, with wisdom from God's Word. Sometimes ago, I asked some friends, ‘what do you think causes major friction in a marriage?’ One of the answers was money. On further probing, we got into one of the big money issues: “Finances are often problematic when the wife earns more.” A follow-up question: Since few earn millions on their 1st job, how did these women build their finances to surpass their husbands’? Again, we hit another interesting note- ‘some women are too ambitious! If they would just ‘chill’ things would be okay.’ This statement threw up so many questions. Should a wife deliberately go for a low-paying job to avoid earning more than her husband? Should she also perform poorly to ensure she doesn’t get promoted? If she’s offered a raise, should she refuse? Of course, these things sound silly but these are actual options some couples have considered in their homes to preserve the peace. Sometimes, the man actually starts out earning more but calamity strikes and his business/career goes downhill. So the once ‘balanced’ household turns upside down because the woman now pulls most of the financial weight. The big question you should ask is this. ‘Why should money (something so many seem to be chasing) which should make life easier become the very thing that can cause unhappiness? There are 4 things I would like you to consider today- Changing times, Culture, Acceptance and Attitude. A) Changing Times: Men, the days when women in the workplace were oddities have since gone. With advancements in technology, many of the more physical jobs have been taken over by machines. This means that there’s no reason women should be sidelined on the grounds of being physically weaker than men. This coupled with the realization of a woman’s right to express her intelligence means the world has made much progress where women in the workplace are concerned. Today there is hardly any industry where you will not find women doing remarkable things. As a result, it is not uncommon for husbands & wives to earn similar salaries or have the wives even bringing more. The truth is that most men like the added household income- who wouldn’t? The only thing is that they just want to earn more than their wives. This clearly becomes an issue of self-esteem and ego. Please understand that you can’t derive your sense of self from money. Many men think being a man is all about bringing in money. It takes a lot more than that to be a real man. Different things make a man. They include the ability to provide, lead, protect, nurture and love. Men you have to bring more to the table than just money to be an exemplary head of your household. So stop being hung up on money alone. (B) Let’s go to Culture. In the past women were touted as the homemakers while men barely lifted a finger in their homes. What men didn’t understand is that being a homemaker is a very marketable skill! A good homemaker is likely to be very skilled in people and money management, multi-tasking, negotiation skills, etc. You’d think that keeping a woman in the house would incapacitate her in the business terrain but you’d be wrong! Women develop the soft skills required for top-tier management quite early in life! Coupled with formal education, a woman who truly wants to succeed in business is a force to reckon with. Perhaps we should take a look at how we raise our sons these days. We might just be doing them a disservice! (C) Let’s discuss Acceptance. As a man, I understand one’s ego can take a pounding if your wife earns more. Single men dating ladies that earn more often vow to themselves that they'll turn the financial tables around before they get married or shortly after. Like it or not, this doesn’t always happen. Sometimes a woman’s gift will shoot her to the peak of her profession. What will you do? Will you kill yourself trying to earn more? Will you resent her success or do the mature and supportive thing and accept it? I have come to know a certain truth. As much as it might be your preference, who earns more in your relationship is not your call. I will repeat this. It is not your call to determine who earns more in this life. Everyone has a race to run. God has blessed everyone with a unique gift. You cannot determine the extent of another person’s potential. If you can't cope with a successful lady you actually have a problem with self-esteem which is not her problem; it’s yours. Single guys, when you court a lady, look beyond her hips, lips and fingertips and determine her inner ‘horsepower’. Can you envision whom she is likely to be if all things work out for her good? Will you be intimidated by her success? There are ladies who are incredibly brilliant, driven and ambitious. You can tell they are loaded from the onset. Such people tend to have a light shine on them and often end up in the public eye doing great things. You shouldn’t marry someone like that and try to cap her … you will kill her spirit, kill the marriage or kill yourself. Remember that your wife also wants to die empty. Your responsibility as a husband is to give her wings to fly. Be a real man, a secure man. Manage your ego and support her. Now if this is difficult for you to stomach, please don’t marry her. In your house, everyone should be a cheerleader urging each one to victory. If you know you've the tendency to be jealous of people’s progress or be competitive, marry wisely. More importantly, deal with this weakness. It’s a bad one & reeks of emotional immaturity. (D) Finally- Attitude. Sometimes the husbands try to be supportive but the attitudes of the wives make it very hard. I have already addressed the men on attitude and the need to build their self-confidence and be supportive of their wives, but now I’ll speak to the wives. To the women: Do you lord the fact that you earn more over your husband? Do you seize the reins and make the big decisions? If you keep cutting down your husband because you earn more money, you pull down your home with your hands. Please don’t get it twisted. The man remains the head of the home. Don’t let money or your position at work get to your head. Pride is unattractive in anyone and that includes you. Cultivate a gentle, quiet and humble spirit. It’s important to note that money or wealth will always amplify who you really are. If you are compassionate and respectful you will continue to be so regardless of the money you make. If you are crass, rude and disloyal, money will make that more apparent and cause problems in the home. Remember that marriage is a partnership. Your success is really “our success”. His support helped you become successful. Even if he has not been supportive still carry your blessing with decorum and don’t disrespect him. Remember the blessing comes from God. A woman that sees God’s perspective when it comes to the marriage institution will not misbehave when blessed. God has chosen to bless your family through you. Be humbled by the blessing and obedient to God’s order. To both man and wife: keep praying for each other’s success. Both of you should do your best, no one taking advantage of the other. Keep aspiring to get better and more productive. Keep pushing the limits and be the best you can be. God will cause joy to fill your home. I hope this has been helpful to you. Dragon Ball Z and the Power of Ancestral Blood Memories: The Saiyin race from Planet Vegeta are a metaphor for the Aryan race from Hyperborea. Friedrich Nietzsche wrote that: “We are Hyperboreans—we know well enough how remote our place is. Neither by land nor by water will you find the road to the Hyperboreans” The Hypberboreans are framed as a mythical people whose blood houses a superior potential. The superiority is inherent, yet often latent, locked away beyond grasp. Vegeta best represents the Hyperborean process of awakening. Like the Western man, he understands that he is born as "heir to the Ayrans", or, in his words, "Prince of All Saiyins". In his youth, he incorrectly believes that his superiority is present reality. It is only through intense, perpetual loss — the genocide of his race, "enslavement" by Freeza, failure to defeat Goku, etc. — that Vegeta realizes that his prideful arrogance has been misplaced. The lesson is that superiority is inherit but demands outlet. Further, the better we tap into our collective blood memories, the more powerful our ability to create new values will become. Goku, in contrast, has no ego; he is, in fact, completely unaware of any connected to the divine potentiality within him throughout the original Dragon Ball series. It is only when Dragon Ball Z begins that he learns of his true nature as a Saiyin. He is ignorant, and, yet, unlike Vegeta, perfectly submits to the heroic pursuit of the warrior, as sole idetity. He is divorced from all attachment to the quantity of physical material goods, or the promise of higher status. He is content to wander the earth with the singular aim to surpass any limitation placed upon him — this principle is the literal basis of his first "beyond Earth technique", the Kaio Ken. Julius Evola writes, "beyond humanity, men need to reassert themselves as distinct and self-conscious centers". Man's struggle is between the illusion of quantity and the orientation of quality. Material quantity blinds man from his latent abilities. It distracts him and removes him from the traditions of his ancestors, ensuring he degenerates into a common being of the lowest quality. Evola asserts that the fixation on quantity results in “a race [that] declines when its spirit declines, when the inner tension that gave it its original form and spiritual type diminishes." Instead, much as Nietzsche advocates, the man of quality must learn to become a "self-rolling wheel". Evola defines that this higher type possesses “a superior, metabiological, spiritual, and “solar” force [that] manifests itself, which does not lead out of life but determines life, ... opening different paths". Evola has perfectly described the "different path" of the Super Saiyin. As Goku once stated, the Super Saiyin is one who can "go further than beyond", and transform into the solar ideal, a perfect being imbued with divine light. The Super Saiyin is one who unlocks the fullness of ansestral capability stored within the blood across generations. Goku's father, Bardock, was the original Super Saiyin of legend. Within you lives the abundant will of all ancestors. They chant your name, demand your greatness, champion your victory. Manifest your destiny and rise to claim your inheritance. For the record, I am much more of a college basketball enthusiast than an NBA Draft expert. One thing that has stood out to me throughout this draft cycle, however, is how little Richie Saunders has been discussed relative to his production. Obviously, age, injury concerns, and a lack of elite physical tools have all limited his draft buzz. Those concerns are fair. Still, Saunders was nothing short of one of the most productive and efficient scorers in college basketball last season. Richie Saunders was one of only 10 Power Conference players last season to post a True Shooting Percentage of at least 63% while attempting 8.5 or more three-pointers per 40 minutes. Among that group, he ranked second in points per 40 minutes. Additionally, Saunders was one of only two players in that same group to also post a Free Throw Attempt Rate of at least 35%, highlighting not only his perimeter shooting ability but also his effectiveness at generating rim pressure. He also finished an impressive 67% of his attempts at the rim. The combination of high-volume shooting, elite efficiency, and consistent rim pressure provides a strong statistical foundation for his NBA projection. Saunders projects as a prototypical floor-spacing possession finisher at the NBA level. An overwhelming 90.5% of his field goal attempts last season came either at the rim or from beyond the three-point line, reflecting the type of shot profile NBA teams covet for his archetype. 100k people came to Barcelona for MWC in Feb 2025. The lecture hall couldn't accommodate them all, but fortunately there is a video of my keynote and the 1:1 fireside chat with David McClelland 4YFN. I started with the 1st AI pioneer of the 20th century, the Spanish engineer Torres y Quevedo, who built the 1st working chess end game player in 1914. I mentioned the first deep learning (1965) and neural AIs that set themselves their own goals (which have existed in my lab since 1990). Fast-forward to 2025: AI has greatly improved, however, the only AI that works well is AI in the virtual world behind the screen, e.g., LLMs such as ChatGPT. But LLMs are not good enough for AGI: no AGI without mastery of the real world! Future physical AIs won't learn like ChatGPT by downloading the web, no, they'll learn by creating self-invented experiments to improve their world models, like babies and scientists - see our artificial curiosity since 1990. Currently, however, the best robots are humans - a human hand is super-advanced technology, no man-made tech comes close. How long will it take to bridge this gap? My old timeline: over 13 billion years ago, the Big Bang; 13 million years ago, the first hominids; 13 thousand years ago, civilization starts. And now, within the next few years, another revolutionary period of only 13 years may begin, perhaps bringing more subjective change than the past 13 thousand years, or the past 13 million years, or the past 13 billion years. What will drive it? Not just self-replicating and self-improving software, no, self-improving hardware! AI-controlled general-purpose robots that can learn to operate all the machines and tools currently operated by humans will also be able to build/operate/repair the machines required to make more of those robots: the ultimate form of scaling - a new kind of life that can expand where biological life can't. We also talked about human augmentation and cyborgs, the tremendous commercial pressure towards "good AI," and AI for weaponry (no, we can't stop that). At the moment, the only ones who are making lots of money are those who combine hardware & AI in a way that's hard to replicate (Delvitech pitch). Nevertheless, AI is getting cheaper and cheaper, and there will be AI∀ (AI for all): all the trends are working in favor of the little guy, not in favor of the large software companies, who are becoming more like utilities, with enormous capex and greatly shrinking free cash flows. Today, 1 year later, with #MWC26 coming up, many others have started to worry about that, too :-)
