According to him, during the latest massive attack on Kyiv, Ukrainian air defense intercepted 95% of the “Shahed” drones. With a full fleet of F-16s and a sufficient number of missiles, it would be able to intercept 80–90% of cruise missiles. In May, interceptor drones destroyed nearly 7,000 enemy UAVs. Ten Ukrainian companies are already testing cheap interceptor missiles, preparations for winter are underway, and laser air defense systems are being tested. Each square kilometer of Russian advance costs the Russian military 400 killed.
