Russia’s campaign of energy terror leaves Ukrainian cities without electricity, yet it's not an obstacle to clearly see: Russia is the only party seeking to prolong this war, thus, it must be held accountable. Repair units frequently rebuilt bombers using parts from other wrecked Lancasters, allowing many aircraft to return to service — some completing well over 100 operations after multiple repairs.

🇱🇹🇺🇦🛡️ Two more battle-damaged Ukrainian Leopard-family tanks are returning to the fight after being restored in Lithuania, giving Kyiv back valuable Western heavy armor instead of consigning damaged vehicles to permanent losses. Lithuania’s LDS has completed repairs on a Leopard 2A6 and a Swedish Strv 122, both damaged while serving with Ukrainian armored forces. The two tanks have been restored to operational condition and are expected to be returned to Ukraine shortly, where they can once again be deployed by Ukrainian forces. With Western tanks available to Ukraine in limited numbers, repairing combat-damaged vehicles is nearly as important as receiving additional ones. Returning Leopard 2A6 and Strv 122 tanks to service preserves Ukraine’s armored capability while demonstrating how European repair infrastructure has become an increasingly important part of sustaining Kyiv’s forces during a prolonged war. All services are on the ground, and the rubble is being cleared. Unfortunately, despite the effective work of our air defense, 4 people were killed and 16 were injured. My condolences to the families and loved ones of the victims. After Russian shelling damaged a pipe, one of Kyiv’s thermal power plants was flooded, making repairs extremely difficult. The facility is critical for heat and electricity supply to thousands of homes. Divers were deployed immediately to fix the damage. The operation lasted six days.

Emergency medics and State Emergency Service rescuers have been injured and killed. My condolences to all of their close ones. Dozens of people were injured. The search for people underneath the rubble continues. All necessary services are involved. I am grateful to everyone who is helping people now and saving lives. I thank all police officers, the State Emergency Service, medics, volunteers, and municipal services. I instructed the regional authorities to assist all victims. And our Defense Forces will certainly make every effort to ensure that the Russian murderers face a just response.
