Ukrainian forces are using UGVs equipped with net launchers to counter FPV drones. The system is designed to detect and intercept approaching drones by firing a net. The exact system seen in the footage could not be identified. Ukraine has developed several UGV-based counter-FPV systems using net launchers, including...

This always seemed like the easiest solution. I'm surprised they don't have these launchers stacked around all the vehicles.

Footage from the Ukrainian UGV’s own camera shows its "KARAKURT" anti-drone net system working under real combat conditions. The ground robot, equipped with deployable nets designed to defeat incoming FPV drones, successfully repels Russian FPV attacks while operating on the frontline.

A Ukrainian USV equipped four “Shmel” RPO-A thermobaric projected grenade launchers and FPV drones under the forward hatches is attacked by a Russian FPV. This incident was again likely near the strategic Kinburn Spit at the mouth of the Dnipro River.

The first known appearance of the Russian T-72B3A main battle tank equipped with the Arena-M active protection system (APS) on the frontlines in Ukraine. The Arena-M APS was designed to protect Russian armored vehicles from ATGMs, RPGs and FPV drones. In this case, the system appears to have failed to do its job as the tank was successfully struck by a Ukrainian FPV drone. The footage comes from the recent Russian mechanized assault near the settlement of Mayak in Dobropilla direction, Donetsk front. The attack ended up in failure.

🐈🇺🇦Small but important campaign to provide net launchers to the 79th Brigade of Ukraine. $2300 required for 3 launchers and 60 nets: PayPal: marshaln111@gmail.com Drones with dropable munitions have become a serious danger on the modern battlefield. They are inexpensive, easy to deploy, and posing a constant threat to soldiers and civilians alike. Still the best means to counter this threat is to physicly destroy or intercept a drone. One of such tools which can be effectivly used are net launchers. These systems can neutralize enemy drones mid-flight, preventing them from causing destruction. We are raising funds to fulfil the request if the Ukraine’s 79th Assault Brigade to equip them with net launcher systems to protect soldiers and save lives. For begging we aim to provide 3 net launching systems and 60 nets from the Ukrainian manufacturer “Ptashka Systems” ( These are relatively inexpensive systems, for all this we need only $2,300. The manufacturer is ready to quickly send the ordered equipment and within a few days after payment the systems will be able to go to the front. Every contribution makes a difference in this fight against one of the most dangerous threats on the battlefield. Donate now to help us protect those who protect us. Together, we can ensure their safety and stop the drones.

🇷🇺 Russian Forces Are Using Hidden Microphone Equipped Drones to Hunt Moving Targets Russian forces are reportedly deploying concealed drones equipped with microphones, allowing operators to detect the sound of approaching vehicles and guide the drone toward the target. The concept is designed to keep the drone hidden until the final attack, making it harder for air defence systems or the target itself to detect the threat. If effective, this could turn ordinary vehicle noise into a targeting signal and create a serious challenge for battlefield surveillance and air defence.

What you see is literally a dog fight between two drones. One is a Ukrainian reconnaissance drone and the other is a Russian FPV counter reconnaissance drone. After spotting the Ukrainian drone, the Russian FPV operator rams itself where the propeller is and downs the Ukrainian reco drone. Not just it, the Russian drone could be seen safe and it was asked to RTH.

Israeli company ThirdEye Systems has presented IronWeb, a protection system designed to defend armored vehicles against FPV drones, at the ADEX 2026 exhibition. The system has so far been demonstrated in stationary tests, while a demonstration of its operation on a moving vehicle has not been shown. ThirdEye Systems specializes in AI-based object recognition using thermal and visible-spectrum sensors. Its products include the MeduzaX passive optical drone-detection system, which provides 360-degree scanning and edge computing. The company says its systems are used by the Israeli Defense Forces and other customers for counter-UAS operations, border security, critical-infrastructure protection and search-and-rescue missions. #Israel #ThirdEyeSystems #IronWeb #MeduzaX #CounterUAS #DroneDefense #FPV #FPVDrone #ArmoredVehicles #AI #DroneWarfare #MilitaryTechnology #DefenseTechnology #DroneWars

⚡️🇺🇦🇷🇺There is now confirmation of the first attempts to blind Russian FPV drones by installing small IR spotlights on Ukrainian drones, producing a bright, directional beam aimed at the incoming drone’s camera. In one case, a Ukrainian UGV tried to blind an approaching Russian FPV drone but failed. The second example was more successful a “Baba Yaga” drone was able to confuse the operator of an anti-drone interceptor that was attempting to shoot it down. For now, this cannot be called widespread, but in the future such a blinding system may become an effective method of countering FPV drones, especially fiber-optic-guided ones, which cannot be jammed by electronic warfare at all. And, as can be seen, the system can be installed on both ground and aerial platforms. So it turns out the outdated Passive Protection Systems (PPS) like the Shtora-1 so common in the late Soviet/Russian/Ukranian like the T-90A are state of the art now.
