It cannot be understated as to how TERRIBLE this umpire crew was.

I can only imagine the ump huddle: “Why’d you toss him?” “He was rowing.” “Rowing?” “Yea rowing.” (Makes rowing motion.) “Uh, ok, well did he say something offensive when he was rowing?” “Well, no.” “Rowing?” “YES, ROWING, dangit!” Umps look at each other quizzically…..

Some added context - Kentucky was “rowing the boat” the entire series.

I don’t get this, it seems to be a new thing. When I played high school baseball, we were all loud & obnoxious in the dugout. We all were. I saw high school game this week & ump warned the teams in the dugouts not to be too rowdy. Now this. Do they want it to be like golf/tennis?

This is what happens when players whose only experience is in Sunday morning Perfect Game showcases are suddenly playing in a league where the umpires will actually get in trouble for not enforcing the clearly defined rules.
