🇹🇷 REPORT | Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan says Israel is deliberately undermining the U.S.-backed Gaza ceasefire through repeated strikes and aid obstruction. Ankara said its Arab and Islamic partners urge global accountability as Israel continues violating ceasefire terms to deliberately perpetuate the humanitarian crisis in Gaza. 🔲 DETAILS: ▪️ *Ceasefire Violations and Humanitarian Blockade* ➤ Speaking after a high-level meeting in Istanbul with foreign ministers from Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Jordan, Pakistan, and Indonesia, Fidan said Israel’s “provocative actions” have killed at least 250 Palestinians since the ceasefire began. ❝Israel is not fulfilling its commitments,❞ he said. ➤ Fidan also condemned Israel’s refusal to allow sufficient aid into Gaza, describing it as a deliberate policy worsening the humanitarian disaster. He urged the international community to act: ❝ The number of aid trucks entering Gaza is far below what was agreed upon.❞ ▪️ *Postwar Administration and Reconstruction* He said Türkiye and its regional partners are coordinating on Gaza’s security, administration, and recovery efforts. Fidan noted Hamas’s readiness to hand over control to a Palestinian committee protecting civilians’ rights and called for Palestinian unity to strengthen representation and advance reconciliation. ▪️ *International Stabilisation Force* Addressing the prospect of an international force in Gaza, he said: ❝Countries will decide to send soldiers based on the mission’s definition and parameters. Türkiye is ready to do whatever is necessary and make sacrifices for peace — but we need an agreeable framework first.❞ ▪️ *Next Steps and Regional Coordination* The Istanbul meeting followed September’s leaders’ summit in New York with President Donald Trump, which endorsed a reconstruction plan rooted in the Arab League and OIC initiative. That plan stressed reform within the Palestinian Authority and global coordination for Gaza’s rebuilding. ❝The world must ensure that all sides preserve the peace process and prevent actions that could sabotage progress,❞ Fidan said.
