There are several other companies that are doing similar, but Rewind has gotten more adoption, so far, than the others, so I wanted to start with the founder behind it first. He explains all AI inferencing is done locally, on your computer or phone, and no data goes to Rewind.

It will be interesting to watch how fast consumers take to such approaches. Over a decade I expect almost everyone to get used to these kinds of new AI capabilities to help users. Really this leads to a new kind of AI assistant, one that always talks with you.

Receptive language - which develops earliest - is the ability to comprehend (incoming) spoken language, while expressive language (outgoing) relates to a child’s ability to communicate his/her thoughts. One important thing for parents to note about receptive language is this: Children are always listening and learning. Always. Even before you might think they are. So choose the language they are exposed to - both in person and via media - very carefully. (Remember too that the things you say to - and about - your child may well become the things they say to/about themselves.) This mom knows the way.
