Unbelievable scenes with both Adam Reynolds & Ezra Mam suffering hamstring injuries on the one play - a turn & chase on Xavier Coates. Both high speed mechanisms & noticeably limping - likely multi-week recoveries incoming & as we’ve seen with other similar cases recently could easily be 4-6...

SIGNIFICANT SNOWFALL POTENTIAL FRIDAY NIGHT ******1ST CALL MAP****** 🎄 Merry Christmas to YOU!!! A pretty sizable snowstorm is expected across the region Friday night, with snow developing as early as Friday evening. I am very confident in a widespread 6–10" snowfall for a large portion of the Tri-State area, with lower confidence closer to NYC, Long Island, and the Jersey Shore where mixing remains a concern. At this time, I am keeping some mixing in play in central NJ/Long Island, but I’m not totally sold on how aggressive it becomes. While 4–6" looks like a very solid floor, several areas could easily boom to 6"+ if colder air locks in faster and holds longer than currently modeled. ZONE 1 – 6–10" OF SNOW This is the zone where cold air damming will be most prevalent, allowing snow to remain all snow for the duration of the event. Expect higher snow ratios, which could allow many areas to push toward double-digit totals, especially under any persistent banding. I could easily pull this zone into NYC and Nassau County as we see more model data. ZONE 2 – 4–6" OF SNOW This zone will likely start with heavy, wet snow, before transitioning to a lighter, fluffier snowfall as colder air works in. Some compaction is expected with lower snow ratios, but additional snow and mesoscale banding could still drive totals toward or above 6" in spots. ZONE 3 – 2–4" WITH MIXING This zone remains VERY uncertain. I could make a strong argument that cold air advection dominates, keeping this mostly snow and allowing totals to reach 4–6". However, low-level warm air transport on an easterly wind may introduce sleet, especially along the Jersey Shore (east of GSP) and into Suffolk County, which would eat into accumulations. I’ll be watching trends closely as this is shaping up to be a sharp cutoff storm where small shifts could have big impacts. 📺 On TV now with the latest on PIX11 News

June 4th, 1994 our lives forever changed. We said, “I do!”. With those two words, we said, yes, to all the highs, the lows, and everything in between. God has blessed us with four absolutely amazing children who are now amazing adults, with their own best friends/significant others (that they’re doing life with), we have three incredible grandsons, and a beautiful granddaughter on the way. We’ve lived where we both grew up (on the East Coast), and have now been out here in San Diego for just over 11 years. We’ve gotten jobs (and lost jobs), we’ve had more times than we can count where we couldn’t make ends meet, even though both you and I were working two, and sometimes three jobs at a time, and we’ve been blessed in ways that we could’ve never dreamed of. We’ve watched both my parents pass on, and are now dealing with the overwhelmingly difficult challenge of seeing your parents struggle with their own health in ways that no one should have to go through. Through it all (even in the midst of the chaos), we’ve been blessed to be by each other‘s sides! I thank God for you every day, Jillian! I love our adventures together (the big ones where we fly to somewhere we’ve never been before, and the little ones where we hop in the car with no agenda, and just drive). I love when we find ourselves in deeper conversation, laughter, and tears of joy then ever expected, and in the moments of silence, where no words are even spoken, but when we’re together, just being where our feet are. As the world (as we know it), keeps getting crazier and crazier, let’s continue to keep Christ in the center of all we do, keep leaning on and lifting each other up when it’s needed, and keep living the lives that we have been so incredibly blessed to live together. I love you with all my heart Jillian. Happy 32nd (heading into our 33rd year), Anniversary.

👀Connecting your coaching eye to your clinical reasoning! Observe the leg cycle of the leg closest to the camera on each drill. Can you see small medium then big elliptical on the right limb and very limited ones on the left? What does limb movement and synergies say about muscle properties and pelvic structure ? Does “technique” matter? Well only if you want to load specific tissues and create protective system tension. We had a really interesting 10.6 sprinter with repeated right side hamstring strains over the past year join our hamstring workshop. UPMC Sports Surgery Clinic 💪🏾Isokinetic tests have him really really strong on both limbs. 🔋Emg told a story of right side dominance and good lateral to medial hamstring balance whilst the left side was far more imbalanced with medial hamstrings dominating action that we assumed the lateral would. 🧐When we went on to the track, we saw similar things. 🚩Notably a reluctance to open up into late swing phase, avoiding long lever eccentric stress on the distal hamstrings…. ON THE LEFT LEG! Well this was noticed across a range of exercises velocities and complexities. 🏃🏾‍♀️ Drills with speed and locomotion, static fast drills as well as static slow drills. 🧐Movement illuminates structural qualities. 🧐Can you spot the difference in these two leg cycles? Could it be that the right side is repeatedly hurt due to the deficit in the left side. After all, if you can’t integrate late swing phase, then you will have poor negative foot speed. You will be able to accelerate…. But all the work will be on the right side the deeper you get into a sprint. Ed Mias Sportsmith

❄️ SNOWFALL REPORT: Week of 1/18 – 1/25 ❄️ This is a another BIG one. A HIGH IMPACT Winter Storm could develop late this upcoming week, with the potential to bring Heavy Snow and Ice to parts of the country. 🌨️ The heaviest Snow will likely fall on the north side of this storm Friday - Sunday, wherever it ultimately tracks. As we move through the week, I would not be surprised to see Winter Storm Watches and Warnings issued as it becomes more clear where this storm will setup. ❄️When it comes to exact locations and Snow totals, we are still WAY too far out to pin that down. That said, the most likely SNOW ZONE appears to be somewhere within the Tennessee and Ohio Valleys, though this will almost certainly shift as we get closer. ❄️Elsewhere, the Midwest will see a few rounds of light to moderate Snow Monday through Wednesday as a series of Alberta Clippers pass through. These should be minor systems, generally producing a few inches. ❄️ Boston, NYC, and parts of the Northeast will start the week with a healthy dose of Snow, with 4-5 inches possible by Monday morning. 🏔️ Out West, the Rocky Mountains from Colorado through Wyoming, Montana, and Idaho should pick up significant Mountain Snow, with over a foot possible in higher elevations. 🏔️The Cascades in Washington and Oregon will also see Snowfall, with a few feet possible in favored areas. ❄️The MAIN THING to remember this week: whoever gets hit by the late week Winter Storm could get A LOT of Snow, but there will also be plenty of busts nearby. That’s the nature of these storms. 👀 I’ll be watching this late week storm LIKE A HAWK 🦅and will post updated maps as details become clearer. ❄️ Get ready, my brotheren. This is shaping up to be an exciting week of weather tracking. May the odds of Snow be ever in your favor

On The Road With Al & Ivy Blog entry for June 3, 2016: First book trailer for the On The Road With Al & Ivy novel "On The Road With Al & Ivy—Book 1: Becoming A Face" will be released in about two weeks. As I said earlier, I was working on this book and "The Quitturz," and this one was the first to be completed. I decided a while back to do this as a novel for various reasons, mainly because it's complicated to write a book based on real life with actual people. Anyone who's read this blog for years knows that this novella, which runs about 45,000 words, will be based on my experiences. The novel format allows me to include a lot of material based on other people's observations and comments, which will make the novel more richly detailed. The format allows me to fictionalize people so that every character resembles no one in real life. The main reason is to protect sources and to take advantage of fiction's flexibility, which allows me to use my imagination. I think that with any work based on real-life experiences, it's essential to be fair to the characters. One of the things I specifically avoided was not to create one-dimensional saints and sinners, so to speak, so that every character can be seen as a human being with both virtues and flaws. Doing this as a fictional trilogy also allows me to draw on my interest in past literature and do this as a work. I didn't want to do a documentary-style book. Plenty of those are already available for this book's subject matter. The title refers to a phrase that will be occasionally used in the book. It doesn't have one particular meaning. It starts off meaning one thing, but as the story progresses, you'll find that it's a much more complex concept. Another aspect is the story's structure. The original drafts were in the first person, but I found that once I shifted to a novel format, I could weave a more complex tapestry that included other first-person accounts and third-person narratives. I admit that my writing will probably get mixed reviews, as some readers will always criticize that kind of structure, but after 8 years and a lot of thought, it's simply the best way to present the story. There will be more blog entries about the book in the coming two weeks and afterwards. - Al Handa #kindleunlimited #booktwitter #homeless #unhoused #booktwitter #siliconvalley #shitzu #books #Blogs

TURBULENCE: “It is not external events themselves that cause us distress, but the way in which we think about them...It is our attitudes and reactions that give us trouble. We cannot choose our external circumstances, but we can always choose how we respond to them.” Epictetus from “The Enchiridion” written by Arrian Welcome to the: complex, high-tech, global knowledge, interconnected, multi-cultural, multi-dimensional, multi-disciplinary, multi-educational, multi-generational, multi-ideological, multi-ability, multi-ethnic, and anticipated TURBULENT future business environment that impacts performance: · positively (opportunity), &/or · negatively (threat); coupled with potential crisis &/or chaos. As could be seen on the video (15 seconds); perception of the TURBULENCE in the environment (stable and/or turbulent) is determined by 4 Attributes, as follows: Unpredictability → Uncertainty which is measured by two attributes: 1. Visibility of future - ranges from unchanged to surprise-full. 2. Speed of change – ranges from slower to faster than speed of response. Changeability → Discontinuity which is measured by two attributes: 3. Novelty of Events - ranges from familiar to not experienced before. 4. Complexity, which contains (orthogonally): 4.1. Scope - ranging from local to global. 4.2. Decision making and/or judgements that are affected by transaction of the entities. Or the extent of importance of each of the following CHANGE(s), as they affect your decision making in the industry (impact of Decision Making on individuals, &/or groups &/or institutions): Economy, Education, environment (natural), Health, Marriage & the Family, Law & Order, Information & Media, Politics, Religion, and Other. Anticipated Future: visibility of future is low, speed of change is high, novelty of change is high, & complexity is high. Anticipated Implications: acceleration, expansion, overlapping, & suction of future levels of environmental TURBULENCE. Advice: learn & act concurrently. To address the above, two programs based on the teachings of H. Igor Ansoff (Father of Strategic Management) were launched on 1-1- 2023, which are part of my Strategic Management Theme. Titles and links of the two programs are below: 1- Strategic Management Seminars and Workshop (for profit), For any type of firm (for profit and not for profit). Prerequisite, knowledge and practice in management and leadership. Details: 2- Strategic Democracy (not for profit), Customized for managing and leading the people’s business in the USA. Prerequisite, High School or above. Details: Fundamental Question (both programs): How to lead and manage ourselves, each other and the entity, while interacting with turbulence for effective, efficient, and equitable performance (potential formidable advantage)? That is done through answering five questions, as follows: 1. Where we are now? 2. Where do we need to go? 3. How do we get there? 4. How to lead and manage the above? 5. Why not?

Clapham High Street on a normal British afternoon: replacement in full swing. Packs of the usual cultural enrichers swarming the road like they’ve just been air-dropped in from the world’s worst corners, blocking traffic, screaming, forcing actual English locals to scatter while shops pull down shutters faster than you can say “diversity is our strength.” This isn’t a one-off “youth event.” It’s the predictable Friday night special when you’ve spent decades importing people who despise the civilisation they’re colonising. Clapham used to be a decent patch of South London where a man could walk without checking his back. Now it’s another exhibit in the great British enrichment experiment: hooded hordes treating our high streets like their personal hunting ground, police nowhere to be seen, and the rest of us told to celebrate it. Funny, isn’t it? How every time these vibrant gatherings happen, the pattern is identical, chaos, fear, excuses about “boredom” or “socio-economics,” never the glaring demographic truth staring us in the face. We’ve replaced our own people with this, street by street, and the bill keeps coming due. the obvious truth staring every native in the face, we’ve been steadily replaced, street by street, and the price is paid in lost safety, lost community, lost England. Carry on like this and there won’t be a single high street left that feels British. The enrichment experiment has failed spectacularly. Time the adults in the room admitted it before the whole country looks like this every single week.

How do you turn a scene idea into a Prompt? All you need to do is roughly describe what's in your head to an LLM. It doesn't have to be perfect or highly detailed. Once it understands the core idea, it can help turn it into a well-structured prompt. In my case, I use a custom skill file that I built myself. After I provide the idea, it generates both a storyboard and video prompts for me. I then review the outputs and refine them through iteration, giving feedback like "make this shot wider," "change this action," or "move the camera here." After a few rounds of adjustments, I usually arrive at the final result. The process is much closer to directing than writing a perfect prompt from scratch. The Idea: Two characters face each other. Serenity fights like a Wing Chun master. She unleashes a rapid barrage of punches into Ruk's abdomen. The fight should feel highly energetic and sakuga-driven, with exaggerated action beats and dynamic choreography. Use 14 panels. The final attack should show Serenity launching high into the sky, then diving straight down at extreme speed. She lands with both feet on Ruk's head, driving him deep into the ground and burying him on impact. All other scenes should be equally creative and visually inventive. Emphasize fast pacing, flash cuts, burst cuts, sudden perspective changes, dramatic impact moments, and imaginative camera angles. Use aggressive screen direction, strong momentum shifts, dynamic framing, and escalating choreography to create a thrilling, high-energy martial arts sequence. This is the final video, you can check the prompts in the replies. Used tools: Midjourney, Codex, GPT Image 2, Seedance 2.0, Suno, Capcut

RECOMMENDATION: $pWBTC (Wrapped Bitcoin on PulseChain) If you’re looking for a way to hold Bitcoin that’s smarter and more versatile, "Wrapped Bitcoin" on Pulsechain, known as $pWBTC, might be it. Just buy ONE at a minimum, tuck it away and forget about it. This is not like other coins, you don't need thousands or millions. Here is why... With a fixed supply capped at just 154,410 tokens, it’s scarcer than Bitcoin itself and even more exclusive than the holdings of industry giants. This rarity isn’t just a number; it’s a potential catalyst for explosive value growth as demand climbs. Built on PulseChain.com Ethereum fork including ERC20s, a smart contract platform, pWBTC goes beyond Bitcoin’s limitations, letting you tap into DeFi opportunities like yield farming or liquidity provision to earn extra income, all while offering privacy tools like mixers and zero knowledge proofs for discretion Bitcoin's transparent ledger cannot match. Compare that to "Wrapped Bitcoin" on Ethereum, or WBTC, and the differences sharpen. Launched in 2019, WBTC mirrors Bitcoin’s price through every twist from the 2020 crash to the 2021 peak but it is shackled to Ethereum’s ecosystem. High gas fees and reliance on institutional custodians weigh it down, making it less agile. $pWBTC, on the other hand, thrives on PulseChain’s ultra-low fee network, unshackled from such burdens. You can trade or leverage it in DeFi without watching profits erode to transaction costs, a practical edge that is hard to ignore. At its core, $pWBTC fuses Bitcoin’s enduring appeal with DeFi’s dynamic flexibility, all while staying true to a decentralized spirit. It is not just a token, it is a rethink of what a Bitcoin like asset can be, blending scarcity, utility, and independence into something fresh. If you are after an intelligent way to engage with crypto that offers both functionality and growth potential, $pWBTC deserves a closer look. Think about it. Bitcoin is priced at $100,000+, WBTC is nearly identical, and $pWBTC is still trading below $750.00 dollars. Buy ONE at a minimum. The market has not caught on yet, but when it does, the upside may be unlike anything we have seen before. If you value my perspective and trust my judgement, I encourage you to consider adding it to your stack. 🔊 Song: Taco "Puttin On The Ritz"

Over the past few weeks, I’ve been looking for different ways to access Seedance 2.0. Then TopviewAI told me that their platform supports Seedance 2.0 — and it can also seamlessly combine multiple clips together. I used the prompt below to create this video, and the result is absolutely amazing! Use 🩵Image 1 as the first frame, referencing the character design, outfit color palette, and overall visual style of 🩵Image 1. The girl is performing a high-speed downhill skateboard ride on a winding suburban mountain road. The shot uses a Steadicam follow perspective, with an intense sense of speed throughout. The powerful wind generated by the fast ride makes her hair and clothing whip violently in the air. At the beginning, the girl pushes off with one foot to gain speed, then lowers her body to reduce wind resistance and continues accelerating. The scene features heavy motion blur to emphasize the extreme speed of the skateboard. While riding, she repeatedly shifts her center of gravity downward and leans left and right through multiple turns on the road. As she carves into the corners, the arm on the inside of the turn lowers as if lightly trying to touch the ground. On straight sections, she bends forward, keeps her knees low, and places both hands behind her back to minimize drag. In the distance, fireworks are going off above a seaside town, while a passenger airplane flies across the sky. The overall visual style should be ultra-realistic, with highly lifelike image quality and realistic photographic cinematography. No background music, only environmental sound design.

"This happened yesterday at Metro Police Department in Phoenix, Arizona. Officer Daniel Chen, 38, twelve years on the force, and his eleven-year-old German Shepherd partner Rex served together nine years explosives detection, search and rescue, patrol. Three weeks ago, Rex tore ligaments in both back legs chasing a suspect through an alley. Surgery saved him, but the vet confirmed he'd never work again. Yesterday was his official retirement ceremony. Daniel walked Rex through the station hallway one final time - Rex limping, moving slowly but walking as more than forty officers lined both sides. The applause began slow and respectful, everyone standing, some saluting. At the end of the hallway, Daniel broke down, dropped to his knees, and wrapped both arms around Rex, sobbing. Rex stayed still, letting him hold on, while the applause continued and nobody looked away. Daniel finally stood and faced the department: "Rex gave everything. Nine years. Every single day. He protected all of you. Protected this city. And his last act of service cost him his legs. He deserves everything." The Chief presented Daniel with Rex's official retirement certificate and badge: "Rex is a hero. He'll always be part of this department." Rex now lives with Daniel for the rest of his life. "He can't work anymore," Daniel said. "But he'll never stop being my partner. We started together. We'll finish together." Sometimes the final walk is the hardest one and every American K9 deserves to be honored like this.

Situation in Northern Kurdistan (Turkey) is spiralling out of control. Protestors have set up barricades in some neighbourhoods and are clashing with Turkish security forces. Protestors are using fireworks, stones and Molotov cocktails to defend themselves against the Turkish security forces. The protests which have turned into riots have seen a surge of more militant groups and individuals joining the riots such as the HBDH and MAK Some reports claim that the Turkish security have began to use live bullets; until now they mainly relied on rubber bullets and water cannons. During the day Turkish security forces run targeted arrest operations with undercover officers. The situation is very reminiscent of the early stages of scenes we have witnessed from 2014-2016 Dead or wounded individuals on either side could have devastating effects on the level of escalation. RE MAK: The MAK has been active since November 2023, carrying out attacks and other activities on a regular basis. They are a decentralised movement of individuals working together for the cause of liberating Kurdistan. As of now: any claim of them being in coordination with other militant groups such as the TAK, YDGH (though both formerly don’t exist anymore) or the Kurdish workers party (PKK) military wing HPG is wrong. For better understanding: anyone who is currently protesting against the Turkish regime could in theory take a video of his actions and send it to the MAK; that’d make you a member of the MAK (it’s more of a movement than a group) RE footage on social media: Please be aware; groups and individuals with different motives are mixing in footage from 2015/16 to create a narrative of protestors being overly violent, armed and under the command of other factions.
