🇷🇺🇺🇦 The ports of Odessa and Mykolaiv continue to get hammered. Russia is using every munition it has in these strikes. For the first time we are seeing the S8000 Banderol cruise missile used on almost a daily basis. Additionally, strikes with KH cruise missiles, Geran drones and Iskanders.

Zelensky in Sweden: Because of the war in Iran, the supply of Patriot missiles has become more complicated. On Tuesday I sent a special letter to the President of the United States and to Congress, outlining every aspect of what is needed — how a sufficient supply of Patriot missiles and systems could help bring this war to an end. I believe Europe must have, here at home on its own continent, all the capabilities necessary for protection. We need our own European ballistic missile defense — in sufficient numbers and with sufficient capabilities.

Tonight, our air defense warriors destroyed 167 aerial targets used by Russia to attack Ukraine. I thank everyone who defends our skies. In total, there were 183 attack drones and 11 missiles of various types — “Kinzhal,” ballistic, and cruise missiles. The strike mainly targeted the Poltava region, particularly Kremenchuk. And this is just one night. This month alone, Russia has already used around 2,800 attack drones, nearly 3,000 guided aerial bombs, and 140 missiles of various types against Ukraine. Moscow has been doing this for four years now and is constantly increasing the number of strikes. That is why it is so important for all decisions on tightening sanctions against Russia to be made in the coming weeks. We need price caps that will stop this war. We need sanctions against Russian banks and the financial sector that will truly hit hard. We must also combat sanctions evasion schemes. The United States, the European Union, and the G7 countries have the power to make this happen.

2 Russian S-400 surface-to-surface missile strikes on a Ukrainian HIMARS GMLRS launcher near the village of Serednii Burluk, Kharkiv Oblast. This was presumably one of the HIMARS launchers which has been attacking Belgorod City recently. Also, I believe this is the first confirmed footage of Russian S-300/400 missiles being used in a surface-to-surface format, confirming what I and others have been saying for years about these missiles being used this way. Coordinates: 49.88832, 37.26744

This video might show the impact of the 4 modified S-400 ground-to-ground missiles in Kyiv that I reported on last night. As you can see, the explosions are much smaller than what you would expect from an Iskander-M ballistic missile. However, it is also possible that these are explosions from of secondary detonations from the previous Iskander-M ballistic missile strikes. Unfortunately, we don't really have any good footage of S-400s impacting to compare it with.

Most of these strikes have targeted civilian and critical infrastructure. All of these attacks would have been impossible if we had sufficient support from the world in crucial areas: long-range capabilities for our security, truly effective sanctions to prevent Russia from importing critical components for drone and missile production—especially microelectronics—and political decisions that could ruin Russia’s will to wage this war. Ukraine deserves the same strong security as all our partners in the free world.

Today, the Commander of the Air Forces reported on the operations of our fire teams, the downing of "Shahed" drones, and countering Russian missiles. We can now say that our air defense has been strengthened. The German Patriot system has arrived in Ukraine, and I extend my gratitude to Germany and the United States for this step. We will be able to do more in the skies. While much work remains ahead and this is far from guaranteed protection, nonetheless, it means more power for Ukraine.

The key to this is to continue supporting Ukrainian air defense, and the most important element today is protection against Russian ballistic missiles and other types of missiles. Now, because of the war in Iran, the supply of missiles for Patriots has become more problematic. On Tuesday, I sent a special letter on this matter to the President of the United States and the United States Congress – a detailed letter covering all aspects of what is needed and how the supply of a sufficient number of Patriots – missiles and systems – can influence the end of the war.
