Im not sure if you can turn on the options during combo trials, but turning on cancel timing display was hugely helpful for me in learning combos in practice mode 🙏

In terms of difficulty it depends on the game. KOF 15 combos are not that bad. CotW combos are definitely harder. Older KOF games can get crazy tho
