The IDF and Shin Bet security agency release new footage showing part of Hamas’s tunnel network underneath Gaza City’s Shifa Hospital, where the terror group is believed to have a main command center. Clips are published from two separate devices that were lowered into a tunnel entrance discovered by the IDF on Thursday in the Shifa complex. The tunnel shaft had been located on the hospital grounds under a canopy, where IDF troops had also found a Hamas pickup truck with weapons in it, similar to those used by the terror group in the October 7 attacks. The new videos show that the tunnel shaft has a winding staircase from around three meters deep, continuing down for another seven meters until it reaches part of the tunnel network. The tunnel continues for five meters, before turning to the right and continuing for another 50 meters. At the end of the tunnel, the footage reveals a blast door with what the IDF says is a gunhole for Hamas to shoot through. “This type of door is used by the Hamas terror organization to block the ability of our forces to enter the organization's headquarters and underground assets,” the IDF says. “The findings prove beyond all doubt that buildings in the hospital complex are used as infrastructure for the Hamas terror organization, for terror activity. This is further proof of the cynical use that the Hamas terror organization makes of the residents of the Gaza Strip as a human shield for its murderous terror activities,” the IDF adds. The IDF and Shin Bet say they are continuing to operate at Shifa to expose Hamas’s tunnel network in the area.

⭕️UNCOVERED: An underground tunnel route beneath the European Hospital in Khan Yunis, Gaza. In a special, targeted operation, IDF soldiers located an underground tunnel route containing numerous findings such as command and control rooms, weapons, and additional intelligence materials. Hamas continues to exploit hospitals in Gaza for terrorist purposes, cynically exploiting and endangering civilians.

And there goes the building in question. IDF: A short while ago, the IDF struck a high-rise building that was used by the Hamas terrorist organization in the area of Gaza City. Hamas terrorists installed intelligence gathering equipment and positioned observation posts in the building in order to monitor the location of IDF troops in the area. As part of Hamas' preparations for IDF operations in the area, Hamas terrorists planted numerous explosive devices near the building, intended to harm IDF troops. The Hamas terrorist organization also established underground infrastructure adjacent to the building, from which terrorists direct attacks against our forces. Prior to the strike, precise measures were taken in order to mitigate harm to civilians, including advanced warnings to the population, the use of precise munitions, aerial surveillance, and additional intelligence. The terrorist organizations in the Gaza Strip systematically violate international law, brutally exploiting civilian infrastructure and the Gazan population as human shields for terrorist activities. The IDF will continue to operate against the terrorist organizations. Attached is a related infographic:

⭕️ WATCH: Hamas terrorists fired live rounds from within the Shifa Hospital in Gaza City. By using an active hospital as a terror launch post, Hamas endangers patients, medical staff and civilians, proving once again its systematic exploitation of civilian infrastructure. The IDF will continue to operate against terrorist activity while adhering to international law and working to protect civilians.

The IDF says it recently demolished a kilometer-long Hamas tunnel on the Israeli side of the Gaza ceasefire line in the Strip's center. The underground route, in the Central Camps area, is described by the IDF as a Hamas attack tunnel. According to the military, the tunnel contained weapons used by the terror group, and also featured three rooms where Hamas operatives would reside.

“Hamas military operatives are present [in the Kamal Adwan Hospital]; they are in the courtyards, at the gates of the building, in the offices.” This ambulance driver—who was apprehended due to suspicion of terrorist involvement—reveals how Hamas uses the Kamal Adwan Hospital for terrorist activities. The IDF found weapons, terror funds, and intelligence documents in and around the hospital. During the operation, a number of terrorists had barricaded themselves inside the hospital. The soldiers apprehended approximately 100 terrorists from the compound, including terrorists who attempted to escape during the evacuation of civilians.

"We see that the Hamas terrorist organization is continuing its military activity inside hospitals. We are willing to provide any humanitarian aid needed. Our request is simple: an immediate end to all of the terrorist activity in the hospitals." Over the past few days, the Head of the Coordination and Liasion Administration (CLA) for Gaza spoke with the Director of the Gaza Ministry of Health about the Hamas terrorist organization's activities within the Shifa hospital, and the necessity to thwart them, in full coordination with the hospital's administration. UPDATE: Israel has dropped leaflets to Palestinians in Gaza City telling them to leave immediately. As you can see in the video below, many are heeding that advice. It appears they are about to enter the northern parts of Gaza to root out Hamas. Please pray for the innocent. IDF announcement sent to civilians of Gaza City: The IDF calls for the evacuation of all civilians of Gaza City from their homes southwards for their own safety and protection and move to the area south of the Wadi Gaza, as shown on the map. The Hamas terrorist organization waged a war against the State of Israel and Gaza City is an area where military operations take place. This evacuation is for your own safety. You will be able to return to Gaza City only when another announcement permitting it is made. Do not approach the area of the security fence with the State of Israel. Hamas terrorists are hiding in Gaza City inside tunnels underneath houses and inside buildings populated with innocent Gazan civilians. Civilians of Gaza City, evacuate south for your own safety and the safety of your families and distance yourself from Hamas terrorists who are using you as human shields. In the following days, the IDF will continue to operate significantly in Gaza City and make extensive efforts to avoid harming civilians. Thanks to Younis Tirawi | يونس for video.
