I’ll never forget the judge’s face when they played the video. Judge Graf had already seen the photos and heard every description. None of it prepared him for what he was about to see. When that footage of Charlie getting shot hit the screen, he flinched. Pushed his chair back like the bullet came through the monitor. For a second the robe didn’t matter. He looked scared. He looked saddened. A judge who’s seen everything still couldn’t hide it. This wasn’t just another case. Some of the last known video footage of 6-year-old Timmothy Pitzen before he mysteriously disappeared. Timmothy's mother, Amy, ended her own life in a motel room. She claimed in a note that Timmothy was in the care of someone trustworthy but would never be found. A seven-year-old boy died after his neck got trapped in the hydraulic door of a parked bus at a garage in Gujarat's Vadodara, police said. The incident happened on Wednesday evening at a garage on the outskirts of Vadodara. The child, identified as Divyesh Rathwa, was playing near the garage when he entered the parked bus. According to police, the bus was stationary when its door suddenly closed, trapping the boy by his neck. Deputy Commissioner of Police Abhishek Gupta said the circumstances were being investigated and that an accidental death report had been registered. Divyesh lived with his parents, who work as labourers, in accommodation behind the garage. According to the police, the child was playing in the area before the incident. Another account of the incident said Divyesh had left his home telling his mother that he was going to the market. When he did not return, his family began looking for him. The search eventually led them to the bus, where the boy was found trapped in the door. Police said CCTV footage from the garage captured what happened next. The footage showed two men who were present at the garage attempting to rescue the child. They pushed the bus door open after noticing that Divyesh was trapped. China is my 61st country 🇨🇳 I’ve spent 2 days in Shenzhen and here’s what amazed me: - Scale! Everything is huge. The city itself is 2x Hong Kong size or 33% Canada size. It easily takes 30-50 min by car or tube to go from one area to another. - Very high tech. Robot deliveries for in-room dining, drones delivering food in the parks, 10 stories robotics markets. - There are also robocard without drivers in some areas but I didn’t have time to try it. - Extremely green. Shenzhen pioneers the concept of harmony between nature and urban planning. It’s basically a city embedded into mountains, sea and greenery. Parks everywhere. - Immaculately clean everywhere from streets to casual eateries. Very high contrast with Yangshuo where I was before. - High patriotism and love for the country & people in every detail. Looks like a great city to live in. - Though nothing is equipped for handicapped people - in general saw this across China so far - The city is very young - only 49 years old. And looks like the population is very young, too. I’ve seen maybe 5% of people over 50 years old on the streets. the only place in China so far where I was constantly asked for Chinese phone number for payments. Still don’t know why. - Very limited English, despite high tech and education. Hotel / restaurant staff didn’t speak at all. Almost no English explanations in museums even - to me it feels like a statement that West is not needed here - Smoking cult. Everywhere, even the room in my non-smoking hotel smelled of cigarettes - A lot of parks, squares and communal areas where people do sports, dance, sing and socialise - Incredible architecture! There are some pretty unique buildings. Each museum site is a masterpiece.

A 17-year-old bullfighter got KO’d by a bucking bull. According to Levi Stewart on Facebook Yes, 1 am the kid in the orange. I am a 17-year-old bull fighter who is still learning, but I do professional rodeos. The item you see go flying from my face is my Ci Meta glasses. They unfortunately have been shattered, and I do not have the video footage. I would have to pay to get them repaired. The reason I say the glasses took a lot of the impact is because my face was perfectly fine besides a small bruise and a very small hole in my mouth, so the Lord was really watching over me. Now, for the reason why I got kicked in the face. So, when I went to step in there, from my angle, it looked like the bull rider was about to get hung up. I tried to grab the bull's head to straighten him out, but he kept going, so I figured he would keep going straight. So, I went to step in to get to that rope, but I saw his hip turn into me, so 1 threw my arms up and tried to lean back as far as possible. If you watch the video a few times, you can see that on this jump right here, the bull extends his legs, which was unexpected because the last few hops he did not. So, unfortunately, I ended up getting caught in the head, but I am perfectly fine, and it was a great learning experience. There wasn't really much I could have done differently. And the reason that we do not wear helmets is because it would take away field of view, make it harder for us to maneuver around, and it could be dangerous for the bull rider. If we have to work hangups, there are more reasons, but those are just a few.

Toots is a loving and affectionate 11 year old male Shihtzu. Sadly his owner has had a stroke and can no longer care for him. Toots is looking for someone to love him, a home he can cosy up in and sit on your lap. As you can see, he loves a treat and will patiently say “ma mum” for more! He is house trained and chipped. Toots is healthy with no medical issues. He hasn’t lived with children, his owner has kindly requested a home with no kids. He hasn’t been around cats. He does like to play with other dogs, especially the females. Toots hasn’t lived with another pet before. He travels fine in the car and goes to the dog groomers with no issue. I FIND GREATER BUSHENYI TO BE INCREDIBLE! KAMPALA SACCOS MAY WANT TO MAKE STUDY TOURS HERE Over this Easter holiday in Bushenyi, I was hoping to find some time to write a more formal piece on law. Instead, as you can see in these clips, Kabagareme, the booming Saturday meat market got in the way. You will never find a better meal, a better price and the extra satisfaction of actually supporting the local people’s “hustle” Deeply satisfying on all fronts. Kabagarame is yet another example of the high levels of civic awareness and organization of the people here. Apart from always being well represented in National since independence, Bushenyi has achieved social-economic transformation through embracing formal education very early on. It’s not uncommon to find families with three generations of university graduates here unlike almost anywhere else in Uganda. Most 50-60 year old Ugandans are one generation removed from peasantry. They will generally keep at least a few crossbred cows. Each of those is a cash crop in its own right. I have never seen a grass thatched house here. Especially tea factories dot the magically beautiful green hills along with several schools whose performance in the National exam, a National obsession, is among the very best in the country. The stretch between Kyamuhunga and Kasese covering the present day Rubirizi and Bunyarunguru districts is perhaps, the most beautiful part of Uganda. It spots the beautiful magical twin crater lakes of Kyema and Kamweru (“Africa”), the Kazinga channel, lakes Edward and George. One can have the breathtaking, sweeping panoramic views of Queen Elizabeth National park, Mountain Rwenzori, and all aforesaid lakes, atop the West arm of the great East Africa rift valley. There are so many hotels in Bunyaruguru of which Kyangabi Crater Resort has always been my favorite. Although, it has to be said, the views are at King Fisher Lodge. The big revelation to me this holiday however is how well the SACCOS here seem to be doing. I took interest in taking a closer look at upcountry SACCOS from my friend Muhimbise Atiki and Kakande Alex ‘s recent analysis of Y-SAVE’s no dividend in two years situation. From anecdotal evidence, the biggest SACCOS here include Kyamuhunga, Mushanga and Muhame. At least two of these SACCOS have a loan portfolio of ugx. 50BN each! Today, one declared and gave dividends. SACCOS might be the local solution that has been brewing to building local capital. SACCOS might also finally break the back of the trust deficit and therefore high risk that underbelly Uganda borrowing resulting in high interest rates. Kampala SACCOS may, after putting down The Intelligent Investor, need to come here for a practical education. There’s a lot to admire and learn.

I FIND GREATER BUSHENYI TO BE INCREDIBLE! KAMPALA SACCOS MAY WANT TO MAKE STUDY TOURS HERE Over this Easter holiday in Bushenyi, I was hoping to find some time to write a more formal piece on law. Instead, as you can see in these clips, Kabagareme, the booming Saturday meat market got in the way. You will never find a better meal, a better price and the extra satisfaction of actually supporting the local people’s “hustle” Deeply satisfying on all fronts. Kabagarame is yet another example of the high levels of civic awareness and organization of the people here. Apart from always being well represented in National since independence, Bushenyi has achieved social-economic transformation through embracing formal education very early on. It’s not uncommon to find families with three generations of university graduates here unlike almost anywhere else in Uganda. Most 50-60 year old Ugandans are one generation removed from peasantry. Everytime you see the "Where is Kate Middleton?" and the conspiracies, smile my dears, because there is a greater implication here.
