I built the world's first buyer's directory for humanoid robots. Tesla Optimus, Figure 02, 1X Neo, Unitree R1, AgiBot, Apptronik Apollo. Every robot side-by-side. Compare any two like you'd compare two cars. What's inside: → 308 humanoid robots catalogued → Compare on price, payload, height, walking speed, and funding → Filter by use case (manufacturing, home, healthcare, defense) → Live ticker of every shipment, launch, and customer deploy → Submit any humanoid I missed A few things that surprised me building it: → Only 66 of 308 are shipping today → Only 32 publish a price → Only 30 have a verified customer deploy → Cheapest shipping robot is Unitree R1 at $4,900. The highest price I've seen is $250,000. P.S. Find a bug, DM me. I'll fix it same day.

Humanoid robot chefs are here.👨‍🍳 Ant Group, founded by Jack Ma, and its subsidiary Lingbo Technology unveiled the Robbyant R1, a wheeled humanoid robot designed for catering services, at the Shanghai Bund Conference. Unmanned, the R1 can prepare a dish in 10 minutes. It has already learned to make 1,000 tea drinks and 10,000 dishes. The team trained a large embodied model for it. Ant Group's Alipay is already a popular platform for Chinese people. In other words, this humanoid robot will serve as a real-world extension of Alipay's virtual life services, offering a new smart living experience. Perhaps one day, when you visit Shanghai or Hangzhou, you'll be able to enjoy Chinese food cooked by the Robbyant R1.

Humanoid robot chefs are here. Ant Group's subsidiary, Lingbo Technology, has unveiled its new Robbyant R1 robot. Debuting at the Shanghai Bund Conference, this robot chef demonstrated its capabilities by cooking four dishes for the audience. ► The R1 is equipped with multimodal perception, allowing it to autonomously recognize and precisely locate a variety of ingredients and cooking utensils. The entire process—from preparing to cooking and cleaning—is fully automated. ► While it cooked just four dishes for the demo, the R1 has already learned to make over 10,000 dishes and 1,000 tea drinks, with each dish taking just 10 minutes to prepare. The R1 is a real-world extension of Alipay's virtual life services, offering a new smart living experience. After all, what better way to bring digital services to life than with delicious food?

Japan Airlines has unveiled a humanoid robot trial at Tokyo’s Haneda Airport to test baggage handling and aircraft cabin cleaning to address Japan’s growing labor shortages caused by an aging population, shrinking workforce, and booming tourism demand. Starting next month, they will conduct mid-to-long-term phased verifications with these Unitree robots. Initially, operations at airport sites will be visualized and analyzed to identify areas where humanoid robots can operate safely. After that, repeated operational verifications simulating actual airport environments will be conducted, with the ultimate goal of establishing a sustainable operational structure through labor savings and reducing workload by having humanoid robots complement human tasks. The trial will last about two years. What a time to be alive that we are now seeing humanoid robot trials like this. Buckle up y'all, humanoid robots are going to start doing a lot of things us humans used to do.

JUST IN: Unitree Robotics just unveiled the GD01, a manned "mecha" robot that transforms between two legs and four legs in real time. This is not a concept. This is a product. Starting price: $574,000. This robot weighs 500kg, is built from high-strength alloy, and has a torso-mounted cockpit. The demo video shows it walking upright, knocking down a brick wall with its hand, then reconfiguring into a four-legged crawl. Unitree calls it the world's first mass-produced transformable mecha. But the real story here is the bigger picture. Chinese companies accounted for nearly 90% of global humanoid robot sales in 2025. Unitree alone shipped 5,500+ humanoid robots last year. In the same period, Tesla, Figure AI and Agility Robotics each shipped around 150. And Unitree is now filing for an IPO on Shanghai's Star Market, targeting 4.2 billion yuan, 85% of which goes straight into R&D. The West is building incredible humanoid robots. China is building them faster, cheaper and at a scale nobody else is close to matching. Read more here: ~~ ♻️ Join the weekly robotics newsletter, and never miss any news →
