Will the Government now finally act and call unequivocally for Jimmy Lai’s humanitarian parole? Today, as the Minister confirmed, Jimmy Lai a British citizen has been given a further 20-year sentence. Given his frail health and five years already spent in solitary confinement, this is not a sentence in any real sense. It is a death sentence for a man whose only crime was to stand for freedom. Why does the Government still describe him merely as a “British national”? Lord Cameron rightly made clear he is a British citizen. Will the Minister now correct the record? Ministers speak about Hong Kong, yet they have sanctioned no one in Beijing for tearing up the Sino-British Joint Declaration and imposing the national security law under which Jimmy Lai has been convicted for peaceful democratic advocacy. The Prime Minister’s recent visit to China brought back nothing of substance. Even worse, the Government granted planning permission for a vast Chinese embassy in London without securing Mr Lai’s release, handing leverage away for free and achieving nothing. My thoughts are with Sebastien and Claire Lai. This is a dark day for freedom and justice.

Since 2019 they've been giving their shares to this company for their energy/water systems, ports, airports, media, their national bank, and more. This same NSA guy is also over G42 which just invested in Neuralink. He's also in charge of MGX which just signed a deal with World Liberty Financial (Trumps & Witkoff), they have a deal with Binance, and World Liberty is going to be integrating Justin Suns TRON. Australia can easily be the richest country on earth with the resources we have. Instead, we're being told to turn off air-cons and dishwashers because there's not enough electricity. This is only possible because the people in charge hate you. There's no other explanation for a country that sits on thousands of years of energy supply to be in the situation Australia is. One Nation will put Australians first, and will fight for a wealthy, prosperous Australia.

Kier Starmer must stand against China’s draconian abuse of political freedoms in Hong Kong. 🇭🇰🇬🇧 The Conservative Party when in Government stood firmly against the National Security Law which has led to the imprisonment and suppression of the people of Hong Kong. We gave a safe route for those needing protection. The Labour Government must provide the mettle needed to handle the relationship with China, to stand up for the freedoms and democracy of Hong Kong, and to raise their game.

Today, there is also a significant political decision by the UK regarding sanctions – to maintain sanctions against Russia until the aggressor compensates for all the damage done to our people and our country. And it is very important that the assets of the aggressor state and all those associated with it, associated with the system of tyranny that the Kremlin has built on the territory of Russia, are used to compensate for the damage caused by the Russian war and terror. This will be fair, and I am grateful to all British people who support us on the path to justice.

We are working to ensure that the security guarantees include serious components of European deterrence and are reliable, and it is important that the United States is with us and supports these efforts. No one is interested in a third Russian invasion. And right now, defense support for Ukraine is especially important, because Russia’s attacks are not stopping, and there must be greater protection of life for diplomacy to work toward a just peace.
