After a long March Madness, I have turned my sports watching attention to youth baseball. I’ve been studying this kid outta Dover, MA. Goes to Xaverian middle school and he hits the absolute cover off the ball. Stud athlete. He pitches too. He plays QB in football and has a beautiful golf swing. Name is Garrett Hoyer. I expect this kid to play high level D1 ball and get a draft pick in the coming years. Must run in the family Brian Hoyer

I have been trying to figure out what I think about Brian Callahan….admittedly don’t know much about him but watching these three clips esp the press conference clip made my blood boil It’s difficult to play QB in this league esp as a youngster and there will be lots of growing pains with Levis…holding any player accountable esp the QB is important but for a young kid do it in the QB meeting room, do it in the team meeting room….if your comfortable in your own skin and you are a leader the blame in a press conference should always fall on you as the head coach (even if it’s not the case)

Just dropped my guy off in South Bend… It’s a little bitter sweet. Though I’m excited that Jordan Clark gets to play for the first team I fell in love with, & a prestigious university like Notre Dame Football I am so grateful for Sun Devil Football Took my young 18 year old baby, & allowed him to grow into a young man I admire more than anyone. I’m excited of where he’s going, and so proud of who he’s become through adversity. #OnwardAndUpward

#HelloBlessedPeople 🙏🏾 30 years ago… I sat and watched team after team pass me by, most of them TWICE! In my mind, I should’ve already been gone before the 61st pick. The last pick in the first round, or as I thought about it, the first pick in the third round. But because I was not “ideal” and labeled a “tweener”, I sat excitedly, yet angrily, awaiting my name to be called. But as I grew in my walk with Christ, I began to understand that, for the believer, delay is often God’s setup. That frustration… that anger… I was blessed by the Lord to harness those emotions, to build something far greater than what I imagined possible… that chip on my shoulder became an asset to my new teammates, organization, home & fan base, not a liability!! I didn’t run from it. I USED IT. Used it in my preparation. Used it in my mindset. Used it to become who God was calling me to be. What felt like rejection… was really direction. What felt like a setback… was part of His plan. Don’t waste what you feel. Don’t fight it… FAITH it! Use it!! "And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them." I started 2025 in a rehabilitation center, after spending 4 months at the hospital. But the wound did not heal correctly so I had to go back to the hospital for more surgeries. After that I did 3 different rehab centers, until I was finally released on May 15th 2025 after 8months of medical procedures. 2 days later i was finally on my way to join my new unit at their safehouse, which were already on a combat rotation. Previously part of an assault group, I joined back the fight as a drone operator and fought all summer 2025 in Zaporizhizia and Sumy. After few weeks of leave in September, We redeployed in our new AO in October, where I am still fighting currently. We spent Christmas on the front and we remain on position for the new year. Entering 2026 on the frontline in Ukraine is a great feeling. I am very grateful to be able to keep fighting after being so badly wounded. But the fight is not done yet. Happy new year everyone! Just a two-star recruit out of Miami, FL, Fernando Mendoza was initially slated to go Yale before switching late to Cal. And after an 8-game starting season in 2023, he emerged as a bonafide NFL QB prospect during the 2024 season. On plays where he had less than 2.5 seconds to throw, Mendoza was top-5 in the FBS last year in Completion % (min 250 attempts), behind players like Cam Ward and Shedeur Sanders.
