Upcoming MLB Network documentary, ‘Michael Jack Schmidt,’ looks amazing.

I have a picture I took of Mike Schmidt after the second home run he hit against the Padres at Jack Murphy Stadium in August 1984. I was at the top of the tunnel leading to the Phillies dressing room. He’s standing, watching the game from the tunnel, smoking a cigarette.

He's an even better person! I had to honor of meeting Mike a few times years back. Dude is 100% class!!!

I wonder if it will show how much of a dick he was off the field ?

When are they going to make the doc about Von Hayes?

Schmidt was a remarkable 3B and a true Hall of Famer. As a Mets fan I always respected his talent. Would have welcomed him on my favorite team any day. The Phillies teams with Schmidt, Bowa, Maddox and Carlton are the ones I remember best. Looking forward to the documentary.

Just said this week to a freind IMAGINE what Mike Schmidt would look like physically if he had modern understanding of nutrition and fitness. Dude would be an absolute beast.

My gosh my childhood was all about Him!! He could do no wrong in my eyes. Favorite player of all time!!

Michael Jack Schmidt I got a chance to watch him through the years with the Phillies amazing player. I met him at the country club diner in Voorhees one night. I think he was probably 185 pounds soaking wet, but this guy could play Hall of Famer hands-down.
