Something I am curious about and I wanted to see if the community is feeling the same way that I am. Does it feel like your ammo does nothing towards chest shots? Since there is no wipes on Escape From Tarkov anymore it feels like Ammo has become not as good and Its because everyone is running T5 and T6 plates I guess? Its not impossible to get high tier ammo but its not easy either. It feels like shooting someone in the chest just doesn't matter anymore with the ammo that you can get from traders and from crafting. So you need to headshot people instead of shooting for chest because chest shots unless you have the best ammo just isn't worth it because people take no damage from certain shots because of how the armor is done right now. I don't really know how to fix it this unless they went back to the old armor system? It just feels like things are weird right now and I wanted to make a post and see how everyone else in the community thought about it. Here is a video of me getting shot by the BTR and my armor tanked the entire round and did 0 damage to my chest.

New Collateral Testing after the BO7 Season 1 Update tldr; Shadow SK seems weaker, VSR is extremely inconsistent, and the XR3 ION still perfectly fine, if all 3 bullets hit. FMJ is inconsistent on snipers, so don't worry about switching your VSR to it. Your best bet is to still hit a headshot for triples and more to connect. There were no changes to snipers in the patch notes. My goal was to test collateral potential without using things like a heavy damage barrel, FMJ, or hitting headshots (considering headshots help a ton with hitting triples and above) to see what it is at a base level I tested all 3 snipers mostly with no attachments, or only with the FMJ fire mod (as the S1 update changed FMJ/Penetration, patch note linked below). I also used the VSR with my gunfighter build that uses the light bolt and short barrel. I assume that if using a sniper with no attachments can register the collaterals, then it should with attachments. I also assumed that 99% of you watching this (and care about collaterals lol) would not be using a damage barrel or FMJ in place of a short barrel or light bolt, and would assume that using both damage barrel and FMJ would help, but again, focused on using a build that most of you will be using anyway.

Battlefield 6 confuses me. The game is amazing, but like a lot of you I find myself going "wtf just happened?" when I die Bloom shouldn't be in the game, or if it has to stay, it shouldn't be a factor within like 40m. I also must ask (since I don't know) why is it in the game to begin with? What's the benefit? Also weird damage profiles. Gun says it does 20, but only does 18 at 10m away, and every 3rd shot does less damage. Plus your criticals randomly count as regular hits The end result, combining this with bloom, and different damage profiles at range, is incredibly inconsistent gunfights that sort feel more like luck. Especially note the miss at the end lol

Every week it never fails that I have someone in my class telling me they have a gun they have never shot but they got it for their wife or a wife who has a gun their husband picked for them and expects them to carry. As much as I appreciate good men who want to arm and protect the ladies in their lives, please understand that a woman’s right to choose exists - THE RIGHT TO CHOOSE HER OWN FIREARM. You should shoot guns before you commit to buying them. Make a list of the guns you shot, what you liked, what you didn’t like. How comfortable and confident are you that you can function and conceal that firearm? Do you have the capabilities to shoot it one handed? (Maybe not the skill set yet, but can you touch the trigger, mag release, slide stop without compromising your one handed grip?) Can you rack the slide? If not, consider a pop up barrel, wheel gun, etc. Can you mitigate the recoil? Is it just right that you can conceal it, deploy it and place defensive rounds on target consistently and confidently? Your every day carry needs to be a gun that you LOVE to shoot. If you don’t love it, you won’t carry it, you won’t train with it and you darn sure won’t be ready if a threat actually presents itself. Let the ladies decide what they want to shoot. Get them training with a vetted educator like myself. Get them on range with that educator and help them grow their skills. If you need help, here I am! Still pondering the ramifications of the bomb changes to gameplay. I am curious about 2 current outcomes since the update. 1HP damage happening no matter where you are on the map. Is this intentional or just an unintended side effect? And if it is intentional, what is the purpose of being condemned to death at 1HP if the bomb detonates no matter how far from the C4 you are. The second being no damage to armour. It is rare that you live long enough to replenish armour, but bomb damage is usually one of the key ways players have their armour unknowingly chipped away at. But again is this an intentional change or just something that has arisen due to the change in the mechanic? I am not concerned with the debate around the indicator for bomb damage range being noobfriendly. This type of conversation has been happening for well over a decade now whenever new features are added. Some people will view it as a quality of life upgrade, others will view it as removing a skill they either have, or believe, should be learnt and not spoonfed by the UI - either way I would prefer to focus on the outcomes of the gameplay.

i spent 4 dollars to make this post Akali 3H single routing structure with positioning optimizations these range from bnb territory to psychotic, but mainly putting together as an example for combo limits / optimization adjustments on the fly. You can always 2 hit walljump / do single hit jM to reduce some length and maintain the routing if combo time is a concern. For the third and fourth combos, there are 2 versions - one that optimizes for limit strike damage / combo time, and one that sends in extra air normals for 5s2 oki. Just posted both as an example, but routing like this also helps bridge the gap on 5s2 damage if you'd like to use that. Notes: 1) Corner to corner, keep in mind extra normals will increase the pushback and leave you closer to corner by the end, reducing frame adv from the tumble. 2) Nearing corner (starting about 75% of the stage away) adjustment on the ender for when the tumble has less frame adv, just cram in more air normals and save your double jump. 3) Here's where you'll start to see corner adjustments - round start position, this ends up being the starter for max damage midscreen, but if you were to reach the corner after the apex of your second jump loop arc, you can squeeze in extra minimum damage for a notable increase. Fortunately also maximizes corner carry while pushing damage. 4) In corner route. Stupid hard wrt combo time, just posting as an example of combo limits. you can probably just opt for above, but it does get an extra min damage source in. Alternatively, learn an easier combo lol. Have similarly structured stuff for 2H, will probably get to it later.
