OP BINWATCHING is underway. There has been serious, and I believe credible, concern raised here at Universal Ostrich Farms that the number of birds here is low and possibly dropping. Sgt. Mike Rude (retired) has been collecting evidence and has provided that to the RCMP along with a sworn affidavit. The RCMP have confirmed that they have begun and investigation and that it is ongoing. However, they have also stated to the family that they do not plan to do an independent headcount and will rely on CFIA for information. We know for certain that one ostrich has already died here while under the "care" of CFIA and under the "protection" of the RCMP. A simple headcount could clear this up and relieve a lot of stress on the family and the public following this story. I don't know if there are birds missing yet, but many people do and the evidence I've seen from Mike and with my own eyes makes me inclined to think something is off. If there are birds missing, we are going to do our best to prove it and if there isn't, that would be the best outcome. More to come.

Update from Universal Ostrich Farms The last of the fencing is coming down, only skeleton crews remain. According to an RCMP officer I spoke to, the RCMP are not expecting to be here when the night shift starts. Judging by what I see, it looks like the CFIA and the RCMP will surrender these seized properties and leave today.

Not sure what to make of this, but there appears to have been a fire in the area where SpaceX has been testing propellant gasification systems. These are suspected to be part of the orbital propellant transfer R&D program Tough to say from this angle, but this seems like it might be coming from one of the exhaust vents, instead of one of the three test stands. If thats the case, its probably not an issue. Just the first time we are seeing this particular test. 🎥: NSF - NASASpaceflight.com

"How do you allow the criminal to lead the investigation?" Karen, Katie and Mike Rude give us the latest update from Universal Ostrich Farms. There is a growing concern that the number of birds here is far lower than it should be and the family has been desperately trying to get a head count. Mike has been collecting evidence which was given to our RCMP this morning. The RCMP confirmed that they have begun and investigation and that is ongoing. Now we're hearing that the people informing RCMP for their investigation are the very ones that should be being investigated! The lack of transparency here is appalling. CFIA should have a headcount at all times in sharing this information would go a long way to easing the family's concerns. Universal Ostrich Farms Update: We are still trying to get a headcount on the number of birds here, it is proving to be quite difficult. The family is quite concerned, as are supporters. The CFIA will not provide a headcount and are not being transparent with the family or the public. The RCMP have stated that they have begun in an investigation and that the investigation is ongoing but they are relying on information from CFIA for their investigation. I don't know if there are missing birds here, but I think that the truth matters and we are going to do our best to get to the bottom of it. More to come.

Mike and Katie attempted to deliver this evidence, with the sworn testimony from Mike, to the RCMP. Katie was ignored, told someone would call her and about an hour later we got word that someone would meet with Katie and Mike tomorrow morning at 0800. More to come.
