@eliteexped I loved it when you came on Monte Rosa last year wearing only shorts and snickers lifting a tornado on every italian newspaper because people didn't knew you were world's leading mountaineering expert. Do that again 😃

@eliteexped without oxygen? I remember you promising yourself that you will not leave/avoid oxygen cylinder because how crucial it is when there is an emergency or rescue to be done.

@eliteexped It wasn’t sufficient for people to have you climb the 14 highest peaks with oxygen… So you went to climb them again without it 😂

14 PEAKS NO O2 – Forever grateful for your support. On 4th, I stood on the summit of Shishapangma along with the fixing team from Mingma G – a poignant and heartfelt moment I am still trying to find the words for. After 14 Peaks I wanted to continue to motivate and inspire and show that there are always more things to achieve and do in life. I dedicate this climb and new records to the memory of my dear mum and dad and Anna and Mingmar. I now become the fastest person to climb all 14 Peaks without supplementary oxygen (2 years 4 months and 28 days) as well as the fastest person to climb 14 Peaks with both O2 and no O2 together – in 5 years, 5 months and 12 days (23rd April 2019 to 4th October 2024.) I’m so proud to have stood on the summit with my brother and K2Winter legend Ming Ma.g – who completes his 14 Peaks no O2 mission too – we become the first Nepalese to achieve this! (Tribute post incoming soon on this legend!) No competition, just teamwork and huge respect! My mission has always been to raise the name of Nepal and all the Big Mountain climbing community and to inspire people across the world to know that nothing is impossible. Even if you have the most humble background, if you work hard and dream big, you can achieve your dreams. It is a privilege to represent the mountaineering community in this and achieve these new records. Thank you to everyone who has supported me and shown my team love – I am so grateful. You are all forever part of these summits and successes! #14peaksnoo2 #nimsdai #eliteexped #Shishapangma #sevensummits #nimsdaifoundation #k2winter #nimsdaistore #14Peaks #AchieveYourNewPossible #NothingIsImpossible #14PeaksNothingIsImpossible #Gurkha #BeyondPossible #MotivationalSpeaker

BIG MOUNTAINS NEED BIG ACTION. This was K2 last year when our Nimsdai Foundation team, led by Elite Exped went to do the #BigMountainCleanUp. Yes, it is shocking. However, high altitude waste is a complex issue – some of it has been here decades. Waste and rubbish is a huge worldwide issue. From the plastics in the ocean to the land and rubbish clogging fields and hedges to the pollutants in the air and of course, on the mountain. We all need to play our small part in tackling this, and raising awareness globally. As a UNEP Mountain Advocate, I am proud to help raise awareness of the #BeatPlasticPollution movement – a campaign designed to raise the issue of waste from the grassroots to the Government and international level. The Big Mountain Clean Up is us playing our small part to protect and preserve these beautiful mountains not just for our generation but for generations to come. My Elite Exped team follow ‘clean as you go’ and ‘leave no trace’ protocols on all expeds and they are working with the Foundation and local guides to return to K2 this season to clean further. One key mission will be removing old ropes – these can be deadly if climbers accidently clip on to them. I believe that by working together we can bring about positive and lasting change. Part of that has to be education throughout all of society from people to Governments about waste and its effects on our home the Earth. EVEREST IN 4 DAYS FROM SEA LEVEL, NEW WORLD RECORD, NEW ERA OF CLIMBING EVEREST 🙌🏽🙏🏽🙌🏽🙇- Huge Congratulations Andrew ! He has just become the fastest person to go from sea-level to the summit of Everest in 3 days 23 hours and 7 minutes. Andrew Ushakov had a dream to be the fastest person to do this challenge, and show a different way to attempt Everest. Normally Everest missions can take 50+days due to acclimatisation routines, but Andrew wanted to show that with dedication, training and lots of preparation and hypoxic training for acclimatisation (*including 400+ hours in a hypoxic tent), it could be done faster. At Elite Exped we want to help clients achieve their big dreams in a safe way – that’s our priority. Andrew started his challenge from Sea Level, starting at New York on May 15th at 00.30am and flying to Kathmandu, and then flying to Everest Base Camp. Then he and his team climbed from Base Camp and stood on the summit of Everest on May 19th date at 9.22am – meaning he completed the incredible feat in 3 days, 23 hours and 7 minutes! This new record is a triumph, not just for Andrew, but for everyone who believes in their dreams. Andrew only started climbing in 2020, he is not a full-time athlete, which makes this feat even more impressive. Huge Congratulations Andrew – Brother, we are proud to have helped you realise your dream! So proud of our Elite Exped team who supported Andrew’s record led by Tejan Gurung. #AndrewUshakov #4daystosummitEverest #Everest #EliteExped #Nothingisimpossible

The City of Chicago booted my car because they confused my license plate with another vehicle. I have video of a dispatcher acknowledging the mistake. Let that sink in. A city system with the power to immobilize your vehicle, disrupt your workday, cost you money, embarrass you publicly, and force you into a bureaucratic nightmare could not even verify the correct plate before taking action. This is not just about me. This is about every Chicagoan — especially South Side residents — who may be dealing with careless enforcement, wrongful penalties, impossible customer service, and city systems that treat people like they are guilty until they can prove otherwise. When government makes a mistake, the burden should not fall on the resident to fight through confusion, delays, fees, lost time, and stress. Chicago needs accountability. I am calling for: ✅ Immediate removal of wrongful boots when city error is confirmed ✅ Full dismissal of any fees connected to mistaken enforcement ✅ Written confirmation and documentation of the city’s error ✅ A clear appeals process that does not punish residents for mistakes they did not make ✅ Better verification before boots are placed on vehicles ✅ Public reporting on wrongful booting incidents and city error rates ✅ Accountability for departments and contractors involved in repeated mistakes ✅ Faster response times when residents present evidence of city error ✅ Reimbursement for residents who lose money because of wrongful enforcement If the city can make this mistake with me, how many residents without a camera, a platform, or time to fight back are being forced to pay for mistakes they did not make? This is what happens when government has too much power and too little diligence. Chicago residents deserve competence. South Side families deserve respect. And no taxpayer should have to pay the price for the city’s failure to do its job correctly.

Those who injure you, those who falsely accuse you, those who lie about you, those who offend you, those who criticize you, who bring injustice against you, God uses to perfect you. Forgiveness in the Age of Rage. — John MacArthur // August 27, 2017 Here is something you have to consider, the injuries against you and offenses against you are the trials that perfect you. The injuries against you and offenses against you are the trials that perfect you. Criticisms, injustices, offenses, false accusations, persecutions, mistreatments, abuse, unkindness – all of those are within the providence and purpose of God. James goes so far as to say this: “Count it all” – what? – “joy when you fall into various trials, because they are perfecting your faith.” Peter said, 1 Peter 5:10, “After you’ve suffered a while, the Lord will make you perfect.” Paul in 2 Corinthians 12:10, said, “You know, I prayed that the Lord would remove the thorn in the flesh, and I prayed three times, and He never would do it.” Then he said this, verse 10, 2 Corinthians 12: “I am well content with weaknesses, with insults, with distresses, with persecutions, with difficulties, for Christ’s sake; for when I am weak, then I am strong.” Those who injure you, those who falsely accuse you, those who lie about you, those who offend you, those who criticize you, who bring injustice against you, God uses to perfect you. So the injuries and offenses that come against you are the trials that perfect you. Now when all said and done, the theology of forgiveness is summed up on one person. Turn to 1 Peter 2; 1 Peter 2, and verse 19. Peter is talking about grace, sometimes translated “favor,” and about a person bearing up under sorrows when suffering unjustly. This assumes that an offense has come against you, you’re suffering unjustly. That’s a very popular thing: “They’re hurting me. They’re abusing me. They’re doing things against me, saying things against me. It’s all unfair; it’s all unjust.” Here’s the right response: “What credit is there” – verse 20 – “if, when you sin and are harshly treated, you endure it with patience?” – no credit there – “But if when you do what is right and you suffer, you patiently endure it, this finds grace with God.” And that’s essentially what we just said. Your suffering, the accusations, the abuses are the trials that bring the grace that makes you strong in your weakness. But here’s the model, verse 21: “For you have been called for this purpose.” What is the purpose? Your perfection. You have been called to patiently endure unjust suffering.“You’ve been called for this purpose,” – and here’s the one to whom you look – “since Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example for you to follow in His steps, who committed no sin, nor was any deceit fount in His mouth; and while being reviled, he did not revile in return; while suffering, He uttered no threats, kept entrusting Himself to Him who judges righteously; and He Himself bore our sins in His body on the cross, so that we might die to sin and live to righteousness; for by His wounds you were healed.” Christ accomplished most when He was suffering unjustly, right? That sums it up. And in the suffering, He said, “Father, forgive them; they don’t know what they’re doing.” Forgiveness is everything. It’s the only thing that’s going to sustain love in a marriage, family, friendships, and the church of Jesus Christ.
