UPDATE: CSUB responds but it's a weird position to take

Yikes. Having worked for several universities, this is bizarre. Unless he was a legitimate employee, he would not be on their website identified as a staff member WITH A PHOTO! It’s a bureaucratic process to get on there.

I called and they told me the person has been suspended! THEY LIED 🤥 then!!! Please we must call and demand a better explanation, a full transparent investigation. We can’t tolerate that.

So they don’t do background checks on “unpaid volunteers” they allow around students? So their “volunteers” could be Ted Bundy types for all they know. Jeez, @CSUBakersfield !

Ok... they wanna play that way?? A man affiliated with CSUB was caught on camera being homophobic and committing hate crimes. CSUB apparently doesn't mind, since he was not an actual employee.

@CSUBakersfield , your response to this incident is inadequate. For a State University to issue such a poorly worded, intentionally misleading response in what can only be assumed is an attempt to distance yourselves from this individual is unacceptable. Residents expect better.
