UPDATE: Mbarara Chief Magistrate's Court has again deferred the hearing of a bail application by 38 NUP supporters arrested on November 7, 2025, while on the campaign trail of their presidential candidate, Robert Kyagulanyi, who was intercepted en route to a campaign rally in Bwizibwera, Mbarara District. The chief magistrate, Mr Andrew Kabombo, who was scheduled to hear their application today, reportedly travelled to Kampala for “official duties”. The court’s grade one magistrate, Alex Baguma, who presided over today’s court proceedings, told the suspects who have been on remand for a month that he could not hear their application because the case was allocated to Mr Kabombo and not him. He adjourned it to December 11, 2025. Ro Khanna have introduced H.R. 9694, the Epstein Files Transparency Act II, to push the DOJ to comply with the original transparency law President Trump signed. The bill would give state attorneys general and survivors standing to sue the U.S. Attorney General if the department continues to withhold Epstein-related records. It aims to route unredacted documents directly to state prosecutors who are actually pursuing cases, including New Mexico’s attorney general, Raúl Torrez, who is ready to prosecute crimes tied to Zorro Ranch but still cannot get meaningful DOJ cooperation. That matters because, in New Mexico, federal delays have blocked access to records needed for its investigation, and state officials argue those files could help expose what really happened and support survivors seeking justice. At its core, this legislation is about forcing transparency, protecting survivors, and dragging a buried system of abuse into the light. Thomas Massie joins us to discuss.

The court of criminal appeals, which is our highest court on criminal matters, struck down a statute from 1951 that the legislature passed legally directing the attorney general of Texas to prosecute voter fraud. It was in place for thousands and thousands of cases and they on an 8 to 1 vote suddenly said it's unconstitutional for the attorney general to be in court. You said you had roughly 900 cases.
