UPDATE; Harrison Gwamnishu has revealed this night that all the Nigerian police officers involved in the k!ll!g of Mene Ogidi, from ASP Nuhu Usman to the least-ranking officer in the team, are currently on their way to Abuja as ordered by the Inspector General of Police. He also appreciated the Inspector General of Police and the Delta State Police Command for their swift response, while stating that he plans to visit the family of the deceased, Mene Ogidi, in Warri, Delta State tomorrow.

Mkhwanazi orders disciplinary action over police vehicle misuse at Estcourt matric farewell Provincial Police Commissioner Lieutenant General Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi has ordered swift disciplinary action against officers caught on video misusing a state vehicle to escort a pupil to a matric farewell in Estcourt. The viral video shows armed officers using a police van, complete with flashing lights and sirens, to transport a colleague’s child to Estcourt High School’s red carpet event. The stunt, cheered on by onlookers, has drawn sharp criticism for undermining public safety and wasting state resources.
