‼️BREAKING: Enumclaw student walkout resulted in 3 kids being arrested by the Enumclaw police. Some of this students were very nice, well behaved and I was able to have great conversations with them. 🙏 Others were chaotic, threw things, hit, pit, screamed profanities and fought with police. (All on video—coming soon.) Ironically enough the “chaperones” kept doing things to escalate the situation. Multiple times I was having great convos with students and the adults would walk up trying to interfere and escalated the situation creating an unsafe environment for everyone involved. #breakingnews #riots Full story later. Enumclaw Mayor Elect Anthony Wright describes a mother with two toddlers carrying two car seats by herself walking across the footbridge so that a coworker could pick her up on the other side. This happened for two months. It’s important we invest in preservation now to prevent catastrophic failures in the future.

Instead of keeping things orderly, they hovered, interrupted, and tried to strong arm her into stopping filming in a public space. They started throwing around talk about parental permission like that somehow overrides the First Amendment on a public sidewalk. It doesn’t. Later, three students were arrested for assaulting journalists. When the adults in the room set the tone with hostility and intimidation, don’t act shocked when things spiral. Five guns were found on or near school campuses in Albuquerque on Wednesday. Two students at West Mesa High School are facing charges and are in juvenile detention.
