We continue to record steady and measurable progress on the reconstruction of the Lagos–Abeokuta Road, with intensified construction activities ongoing across key sections including Itori, Papalanto, Ifo, Ewekoro and towards the Sango axis. Rigid pavement works and reinforced concrete drainage are advancing at Ewekoro and along the Ewekoro–Papalanto corridor, while asphalt laying of both binder and wearing courses has been completed in parts of Sango Ota and Obada Oko. Across other sections of the route, grading, spreading and compaction of sub-base materials are actively underway, particularly around the Itori axis and Iyana Ilogbo.
