Her doctor recommended continued treatment. The issue is payment for the recommended medication. The legislation dealing with expensive drugs for rare diseases allows the minister of health to decide if they will pay for the drugs. The @bcndp answer was no.

David Eby is INTENTIONALLY obfuscating what is happening in this case! Charleigh’s caregivers and doctors say she is stable and doing well on the treatment - it is the GOVERNMENT who is interfering to pull her off care, essentially giving her a death sentence. People with MS or cancer would be terminal too without treatment, you can’t just say they’re unhelpable while ripping life saving treatment from them. This is happening becuase Charleigh is a disabled child, period. It is discrimination. And you can bet if it was Eby’s child, nobody would be taking her off treatment prematurely. This is nothing short of murder.

Also, he is trying to manipulate the media and the public by repeatedly calling her terminal. He is twisting the situation to try and make it look like he’s not personally condemning a disabled child to death, which he, Josie Osborne, and everyone else in a position of power is.

Eby: Says he does not favour intervening to supply life-saving medicine to a child. Also Eby: The man accused in the Lapu Lapu Day festival rampage should “spend the rest of his goddamn life in jail.” Intervention by swaying opinion, or vocal outrage only for some.

"I know that he is on Team Canada and I can't imagine in the end that if we meet the issues that have been raised by British Columbia that he would go off Team Canada," says Smith. British Columbia Premier David Eby says he will be writing to Prime Minister Mark Carney to request that the Lawrence Bishnoi gang be designated as a “terrorist organization in Canada.” This designation would allow police to investigate more effectively and provide them with the tools needed to put an end to the ongoing extortion. Eby notes that the issue is a major concern not only in B.C., but also in Alberta and Ontario, where gangs from India are known to be operating.

Thank you Global BC and Keith Baldrey for covering this story. ‘It’s All the Court’s Fault’ is the latest iteration of blame and deflection from this NDP government. In 2021, rushed and without-debate legislation was brought in by Attorney General Eby to have the intended outcome that we saw in the Gitxaala decision in December 2025. Now to say that the court erred in judgement, and has no place in reconciliation is laughable, but not funny. The Supreme Court may not grant leave and may very well uphold the judgement related to a law written and introduced by none other than: ~David Eby This unfolding story could literally be a Netflix Thriller. #bcpoli

🇨🇦🛢️🏭 : BC Premier David Eby says he is open to building a refinery in British Columbia to cut off imports of oil & gas from the USA. He announced this after being asked if he would lift the tanker ban across the Northern BC Coast. Eby says the TMX expansion is not being utilized at capacity and thus he sees no need for a new taxpayer funded pipeline. David also says there is no offer from the private sector to build a pipeline. Enbridge wanted to build the Northern Gateway pipeline 10 years ago. We also had a private offer to build a multi billion $ refinery in Kitimat. Both projects were cancelled because Justin Trudeau & David Eby made it impossible for private investors. In the case of the Northern Gateway pipeline, Justin Trudeau cancelled it in 2016 despite that line having First Nation consent & billions in equity shares in the line. Something I have posted about repeatedly, including a few days ago. Enbridge also spent $1 billion on consultations and environmental impact assessments, only to have the new Liberal government ax the project anyways. Once the BC NDP came to power, they made it next to impossible for a refinery project to be built by ensuring the process would cost far too much, while having too much uncertainty, to be viable. We lost a decade of prosperity because of Justin Trudeau's Liberals & the BC NDP pushing their self serving agendas. Only to now watch David Eby backtrack 10 years later. This should infuriate everyone. We could have had that refinery built by now and be domestically benefitting from & exporting premium jet fuel, gasoline, diesel & various types of crude. The reality is, David Eby is a failure & should be stepping down so a competent government can take over.

The Conservative leadership race in British Columbia matters just as much outside BC, as it does inside, for numerous reasons. By being the WOKE capital of Canada, BC has rolled out numerous toxic policies that slowly trickle east. Like injection sites. Claire knows firsthand — she’s experienced the pain and anguish of homelessness and addiction on Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside.
