It’s very possible that the kid was seeking attention, all kids seek attention, and some kids go the negative attention route. Some kids like to offer shock value as a way to get attention. Doesn’t make much sense -but they do, and that’s probably what happened. The kid was talking crap at school and it backfired on his family. Regardless, the police department, and the school should’ve all called the parents, maybe invited them in for a sit down to talk about it, and not handled it with this insane kick down the door nonsense, which is so over the top. It’s an ear piercing, maybe we should treat the situation with the amount of seriousness, an ear piercing deserves.

If any kid goes to his teacher and says "my dad got drunk and put me in a chokehold" wouldn't we want the school to tell the police?

So their arrest is predicated on hearsay evidence.... doesn't sound like there was probable cause.

DCF or CPS gets involved if there has been allegations of abuse. Not the cops. This makes absolutely no sense and honestly there needs to be a full investigation of that police department

So the cops are saying the man assaulted his son but they charged him with performing body art w/o a license? How does that make sense? The charges don't really fit the new story, either.

Definitely seems like, “Let’s find a charge to justify our actions and screw with this guy.” In the end it’s likely this guy made a cop look bad a week ago at a youth sports event.
