gunwook about customize 🥹 🦋 how many days did it take? 🧸 for writing it? i've been writing this since the end of january, so at that time, probably only matthew hyung, taerae hyung, and i, just the three of us listened to it together for the first time during the album track selection. we listened to it first at the music video filming site and then the other two probably heard it later. so somehow we managed to develop it well and it just went (….) but i was also really nervous. if the reaction wasn't good, i'd feel like i was burdened with the responsibility but i’m so glad the reaction was so good, seriously

Q: What is youth to you? ⭐️: I think so. Wow, it’s only hitting me now. “You’re only in your youth because you’re in pain”. I think that’s really true. When I think about it, it’s always painful and hard, but I feel like there’s something to learn from it. My most painful memory is when I felt I had lost myself. When I felt the most powerless and exhausted. The early days of my twenties still make me feel sad, like I just want to give myself a hug. Was that before or after debut? Anyway, it wasn’t long after I first debuted. I remember being on stage and suddenly feeling the spotlight had turned off just for me. Even though everything around m was bright and full of cheers, I felt like I was standing under a back light on stage. There was this moment where I thought, “Something‘s really wrong”. But now I’ve overcome it and I’m doing well. Q: How did you overcome it? ⭐️: Through our fans. I know it might sound cliche. Back when I didn’t think much of myself. After debuting and meeting our fans, to them I was a real idol, I was someone’s star. To the people who thought of me as the best, I didn’t want to show a lack of confidence. That’s why I started comforting myself from then on. There was a time when I began introducing myself as the best looking member in the team. All of that was when I realized that if I want my self-love to reach others, I had to love myself the most first. That moment brought a lot of change in me.

🐰 it’s been 8 years since i debuted and i might’ve had this kind of hair before but in my memory, this is the first time i’m slicking my hair back so much…i did my hair like this yesterday and it was really unfamiliar to me so i was like “would it look nice?” but it looks nice, i think it suits me 🐰 “how do you feel trying this hairstyle? do you think slicked back hair is better or hair with bangs down is better?” both are good 🐰 in the past, during our early debut days…since i had a bit of cheek fat, i liked my bangs down better because if you have fat on your face, your face looks rounder when you push your hair back so i wanted to have my hair down and look a little sharper but as i’m older now and my baby fat has disappeared, pushed back hair looks good on me too so i like both 🐰 rather than liking one better, i think it’s good to do what fits the place the best…when you think of dolce & gabbana, i don’t know what it’s like for you guys but when i think of dolce & gabbana, i kinda think of the sexiness of a man so i felt like slicked back hair would suit it better, i like this hair too

So I told myself I’d bring that look back someday, and I kept my hair long for about two years. I really loved it during that time, I was so happy and got to try all the styles I wanted. But after I finally cut it, it felt so comfortable. So in the end, I prefer short hair now.

#TAEYONG WEVERSE LIVE FOR WYLD 1ST WIN🏆 "Everyone, it's done! I got first place" 🌹: I turned on Weverse Live for the first time in a while. 👤: iyahoooo! 🌹: Hahaha…By any chance, could you give me that? Could I watch it? I thought it would be more comfortable for me to watch it while doing it. Thank you so, so, so much for the TV. We won first place on Music Bank today with WYLD and I really feel grateful for all your hard work, sincerity, and everything. I think this WYLD activity was very meaningful, and it was my first full-length album, and my biggest desire was to show a really improved version of myself over the past two years, and I also thought a lot about wanting to be recognized, but since I didn't have those thoughts, I did have a lot of doubts about whether it was okay to make music on my own. You all have created such a wonderful situation for me, and since I am receiving all your hearts, memories, support, and passion, it feels like passion is pouring into my heart once again. I am so grateful, and I really didn't expect to win first place today. So, I actually didn't prepare an acceptance speech, so it was really funny, right? I think I was rambling a lot. I don't think I remember it very well, and I feel really dazed. I'm still dazed right now, and I was so flustered that I even wondered, "How did I even shed those tears?" It was actually a really stressful situation for me to begin with. I couldn't sleep well and kept having nightmares, and I was spending each day hoping that things would improve because of this album, but I am so, so grateful for you creating such a wonderful situation. Taehyun played the biggest role in helping Kai open up again 🥹❤️ 🐧 do I get jealous a lot? idk. do I get jealous a lot? maybe a little? 🐧 I think my emotions have actually become richer compared to when I debuted. during my debut, I was almost like a robot. at that level, I barely had any emotions. at that time, maybe I was rather a bit stiff? how did I even survive back then? 🐧 at that time, I completely excluded the thing called emotion and just went through it. it was just input and output, I think I did it exactly like that. 🐧 I cried a lot during my trainee days.
